Coconut Macaroons III

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2012
WOW! These were so good!!! I had never made macaroons before and the store was out, so I figured I'd give this recipe a try. Definitely a keeper. I did cook them about 17-18 minutes to allow for toasting of the coconut. Thanks for a great recipe!!!!

So good! The only modification I made was to roughly chop the cranberries before adding them.

Chicken Parmigiana

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2011
This was so easy and delicious!! I used Perdue Perfect Portions Chicken Breasts because it was on sale and the chicken breasts were about the same size. I also added parm cheese to the Italian bread crumbs before dredging. I did cook the breaded pieces for only 30 minutes as the chicken pieces were not that thick and did not want them to dry out. I had Prego Marinara sauce so I used that, added my cheeses and cooked it another 15 minutes. I put the chicken parmigiana over rotini and the entire family loved it!

Debdoozie's Blue Ribbon Chili

Reviewed: Sep. 5, 2011
I've only made chili a couple of times. We had a horseshoe tournament at our house yesterday with about 70 people. I made the chili on Saturday in a crock pot and let it cook for almost 14 hours. I reheated in the crock pot yesterday. Full, 6 quart crock pot. I followed the recipe to the T, only draining and rinsing my beans. I even used Pace Picante sauce recommended. I think the crock pot was literally licked clean. Thanks for such a great recipe that I will use again and again!

Slow Cooker Cranberry Roast

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2008
This was delicious! I followed the recipe as written, only giving the meat a salt and pepper rub before putting it into the crock pot and slicing the cranberry sauce and placing it on the meat. I used a rump roast and it was so tasty! My husband loved it and wants me to make it again this time trying it with a pork roast. We didn’t find it too sweet either.

Rotisserie Chicken

My husband has been after me for years to find a great rotisserie chicken recipe and this is it! I did decrease the amount of salt used the second time I made this chicken and it was delicious! I will definitely be using this recipe for a long time!

Colossal Caramel Apple Trifle

Reviewed: Aug. 6, 2007
This recipe does make a colossal amount of food! It was more than I needed, but everyone loved it and I plan on making it again for another get together with friends. I will definitely scale it back a bit. I also only used 5 cups of milk as recommended and the pudding was the perfect consistency.

Bread Machine Challah II

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2005
I have been searching for some time now for a great Challah dough recipe, and this is it! My mother purchased store bought Challah and I brought 2 loaves of this Challah and no-one ate my mom's! I just floured up my hands to combat the sticky dough.
