We rated this barely one star when made with frozen spinach but three-four star using fresh spnach leaves.

Black Bean and Corn Quesadillas

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2011
If you have 8 flour tortillas and use 2 for each serving - the number of servings is 4, not 8. That mistake changes the nutritional information, as well.

Candi's Chocolate Peanut Butter Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2006
I did alter the recipe slightly because I did not want to buy a can of applesauce only to use 1 tablespoon.

Brined and Roasted Chicken Pieces

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2006
Is this a safe recipe for high blood pressure, restricted sodium, patients to use? Is there any way to test the amount of sodium remaining in the meat after removing it from the brine solution? This is a legitimate question and is not meant to be considered frivilous, either by Allrecipes or the submitter - Morton's Salt.

Green Eggs and Ham Breakfast Sandwich

Reviewed: Jun. 16, 2006
This was pretty good, when made using other reviewers advice. Guess what? In case you are confused, bacon is NOT ham! Same animal, different cut.

Mom's Classic Reuben

Reviewed: Jun. 15, 2006
My son-in-law made this and everyone seemed like it, but the sodium content was much too high for my reduced sodium blood pressure diet. What a shame.

Spicy Crab Dip

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2006
The first turnoff was the description. However, I had high hopes, which never materalized when I tried the recipe! Sorry.

I baked these Sausage Egg Muffins in Texas-size muffin cups, using the Overnight Breakfast Casserole idea.

Hedgehogs

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2006
This recipe, which we fondly remember being called Porcupines was much better when my mother made it. Her recipe was seasoned so very much better! Re: Hedgehogs, for fun see -http://www.cafepress.com/hhvalley

Salmon Pea Wiggle

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2006
Thanks for posting. I hadn't thought about this recipe in years. My cousin and I used to go into hysterics when we heard her ribald brother's (10-year-old sense of humor)name for this recipe, much to their mother's disgust.

Emergency Garlic Bread

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2005
I do agree, it's good for an extreme emergency. But, contrary to your comment: YES, I really did note the difference!

Cherry Blossom Fudge

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2005
I think the non-setting problem most often mentioned by other reviewers, is due to the huge amount of butter listed in ingredients. If you want to make cherry fudge, I suggest you use: Hershey's Rich Cocoa Fudge - this site and add quartered maraschino cherries.

After trying this, I'll stick with my banana bread recipe which produces a moister and tastier loaf.

For sodium content I reduced the amount of ham by half, and also reduced the amount of cheese.

Chai Tea Mix

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2005
As other suggest I use less sugar. I don't understand the reviewers who complained about chunks of spices. To me ground ginger-cinnamon-cloves-cardamon- means purchased as powdered spice, not as whole spices, to be ground.

Italian Beef Sandwiches

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2005
This is very good! But, I think 1/2 pound of meat is excessive for one sandwich! I was able to make more servings using this recipe, as written.

Griddle Style Philly Steak Sandwiches

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2005
A great tasting sandwich. I reduced the sodium content from 2794mg to 531mg by using fresh mushrooms and subsituting 4 slices mozzarella cheese in place of 8 slices provolone cheese.

Dinner in a Pumpkin I

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2005
I've made a similar Supper in a Pumpkin for years, using sausage, lima beans, and no cabbage. I didn't have the uncooked rice problem after I started using Instant Rice. I have never cooked anything in my oven without a pan under it.
