Apple Crisp II
This recipe is easy to make, but HUGE on flavor! My husband usually just simply comments that something is good or not. He stated that this crisp has the perfect balance- I almost fell over! As many reviewers stated, you don't need the water. I used half each of brown and white sugars (Splenda), about 10 Granny Smith, and 6 Gala apples for the fruit base. I grated a little fresh nutmeg in with the sugar that goes over the apples. Next time I will add half again as much topping- it was the best part. The tart, soft apples play nicely against the sweet crunchy topping perfectly. My kitchen smelled heavenly, and my husband asked for seconds. Thanks, Diane, for this fantastic recipe.

Caprese Chicken
This recipe is wonderfully flavorful, and the chicken was very tender. I skipped the chicken seasoning because I felt there would be enough flavor from the Italian dressing and seasoning. The chicken was grilled on the BBQ using wood chips which added flavor. I added the mozzarella and tomato at the end, and put the grill lid down to allow the cheese to melt which saved a dirty pan. I cut my fresh basil into a chiffonade because a whole leaf can be overwhelming as well as more difficult to eat. Since the breasts were large, I sliced them horizontally. We liked the thinner chicken, and it cooked quicker. My family raved about this recipe, asking me to "star" it so I can make it again. Thanks for a fantastic recipe.

Chicken Florentine Casserole
I knew this would be delicious, and it was superb! I used thawed, frozen spinach with the water squeezed out. I used jarred mushrooms bc it's what I had on hand, and I added a bit of sea salt, garlic granules and pepper to the chicken prior to baking. Do to our preferences, I added granulated garlic and onion powder to the cream mixture. The completed dish had a lovely brown crust, and the spinach tasted like a delicious creamed spinach. I will be making this dish regularly. Thank you Bryan0320 for this fantastic recipe which is good enough for company.
