Halushki

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2006
I made this recipe while my mom and dad were visiting, my mom usually won't eat anything new or different. She really liked this. I did add fresh garlic cloves cut up instead of the powder. It was a fantastic dish. The recipe was very easy to follow! Thanks for a great recipe.

These came out so yummy! I was a little nervous using the Mazola Corn Oil but it worked out great. This is a cookie I will definitely make again!

Italian Easter Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2010
These cookies are just like the ones my Grandma used to serve at her house when I was a little girl. Unfortunately her recipes went to the grave with her. I am so glad to find this one. I will definitely be making these for all my holidays here on out. Thanks for a great recipe and the walk down memory lane!

Blackened Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2010
This chicken was fantastic! I served it with Alfredo. It was definitely spicy. If you don't like heat you may want to tone down on some of the spices. I will be making this again and again.

Taco Seasoning I

I used this the other night. It did have a bit of a kick. It was very good. I used about 1 1/2 lb. ground beef and 1 1/2 cups water. Delicious! I will use this again.

Peanut Butter Chip Chocolate Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2006
This cookie is delicious with or without the peanut butter chips. I used margarine instead of butter and they came out perfect. I will definitely make these again.

Kentucky Biscuits

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2009
I love these biscuits. They come out nice and fluffly. If you like butter flavored biscuits you will really like these. Very easy to make. I always double the recipe and I drop them by tablespoons onto a baking sheet for the traditional round biscuit.

Daddy's Whisker Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2009
I really enjoyed this soup. The dill flavor kind of creeps up on you, not overwhelming in the least. I did double this recipe as I am feeding a dozen people every night. This soup did not thicken up for me though. Not sure why. I thought about attempting to thicken it in a variety of ways (ie: Potato flakes, flour, cornstarch) not sure how it would have affected the taste though. So I opted to keep this recipe as it was this time. Next time I will try on of the thickening agents and see how that comes out. Very delicious soup!

Pumpkin Bread IV

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2009
This was a great bread. I took it to my sons first grade Thanksgiving feast and all the kids that tried it went back for seconds. I did leave the cloves out as I don't really care for them. This recipe turned out three nice sized loaves. I will be making again!

Yummy! That is the only word needed when describing these! Used these on top of my pork chops but honestly could have eaten these all by themselves!

RITZ Spicy Asian Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2014
We loved the breading on these! So good! The sauce was a little on the sweet side but we loved it all the same. I will decrease the brown sugar next time and then it will be perfect for us! Thanks Marion for a great recipe!!!

Peanut Butter and Oat Brownies

Reviewed: Jul. 3, 2012
Don't try these without a glass of milk nearby! They were very rich! If you love peanut butter you will love these! I used salted butter so I cut the salt down to a teaspoon, I also added about 5 minutes to the cook time. Very easy to throw together. I will make these again but instead of frosting with peanut butter I may try chocolate just to break up the taste a little! Thank you for a great recipe!

Chicken Enchiladas II

Reviewed: May 28, 2012
These were really good and very easy to make! I used cream of chicken instead of the mushroom...just personal preference. I also omitted the green chiles because of an allergy, I don't feel this hurt the recipe in anyway! I will definitely make these again!

Apple Sticky Buns

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2010
I made this yesterday. I doubled the apples and omitted the nuts(a personal preference). These came out great! Although I only got one. My sons friends came over and demolished the whole pan. And through mouthfuls I heard "Did you make these? They are really good!" I have another batch in the oven now and am planning on hiding these ones so the other people in my house get a chance to try them.

Fresh Strawberry Upside Down Cake

I really enjoyed this cake. It came together very easily! Only thing I would do differently is let the strawberry sit in a little sugar for awhile to bring out the juices. I will definitely make this again...Thanks for a great new recipe!
