Fluffy Pancakes

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2014
Holy cow these were THE BEST! I have tried a few recipes over time and they really didn't impress me too much. My family wolfed these down in record time. THE BEST!

Buttermilk Pancakes II

These are awesome. I had been making a recipe that I thought was good, but decided to try these. This is now my go to pancake recipe! Made as is - no changes needed!

Roast Sticky Chicken-Rotisserie Style

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2011
Ohh yeah. This was soo good. I love it over any other roast chicken recipe I have tried so far. Next time, though I think I will mix the spices with softened butter and THEN rub on. The top of the bird was a little dry looking, but man oh man did the flavor really pack a punch, it didn't matter what the the thing looked like.

Sooo simple I never knew! Very very yummy. I added a lot more cinnamon since I love it but turned out tangy and rich and sweet!

Simply fantastic! I don't change a thing - except lighten up on the oil and sugar a tad!

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2009
SOOOOOO good! The sauce was amazing. I nixed the meat and instead layered on chopped spinach and yellow squash for a vegetarian dish. Excellent! But I only used 15 oz of ricotta because that is what the containers come in - either 15oz or 30 oz. Crazy, I know, but the 15oz worked just fine, and I had 3 layers. I also chopped fresh basil and added it to the layers before putting it in the oven. Very yummy!

Unbelievable Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 5, 2009
Extremely tasty and the chicken is always moist and tender. I made this recipe as is and paired it with wedge potatoes and broccoli. I can't wait to see what other kinds of meat and seafood this marinade would go great on. Wonderful!!

Cheddar Buttermilk Biscuits

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2009
These were very good - moist and buttery and tangy! I whipped everything up in my food processor and that made things much easier and faster. I didn't use all the buttermilk, and even added some flour to make the dough less sticky. I may stick to about a half cup of buttermilk next time - and there will be a next time! Excellent!!

Parmesan Chicken II

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2009
SO GOOD! I used chicken tenders and added bread crumbs to the parmesan, as well as some spices and garlic powder. I coated the tenders first with the parmesan mixture, then dipped them in the egg batter, and then dipped again in the coating. They baked up wonderfully!

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2009
Holy effing cow!! My husband is absolutely stuck on this recipe. However, I just mix softened butter with Parmesan and spices, no mayo, and it is DA BOMB! With fresh lemon juice squeezed over this fish I am in heaven.

Peanut Butter Bars I

All I have to say is: Da Bomb! I used natural peanut butter and the slight grittiness of peanuts (of the brand I used) absolutely made this!

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2009
Ok, I am adding another glowing review for this recipe. I timed these cookies, for my oven, for 5 minutes and they came out light and chewy and delicious! I glazed some with a simple powdered sugar glaze (basically, sugar on top of sugar) and some plain. I like plain the best. :)

Spooky Witches' Fingers

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2008
Holy freakin' cow!! These are the best cookies I have ever seen! They came out perfectly - I have never seen a more gross cookie. I loved making them and shaping them. I added two drops of green food coloring, sliced almonds dipped in the raspberry jam for the nails, and poked a hole in the other end of the finger and slathered on more jam so it looked like it was oozing out! The jam was very good with the cookie. The cookie itself is very good - not cloyingly sweet and the almond extract was perfect.
