Easy and Tasty Stuffed Green Peppers

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2010
I absolutely loved these! This was the first time I ever tried to cook stuffed peppers. The main thing I didn't do was pre-boil the peppers. With using the soup as a topping, I had also made a little extra and poured it into the bottom of the pan before putting the peppers in it, and that softened up the peppers. I also added cheese before and after putting the tomato sauce on top of the meat and rice mixture; this way it had a little extra cheese and was nice to pull apart. I didn't have a onion, so I used minced onion and it worked fine. This is definitely something we will be having over and over again!

Cheesy Broccoli Rice Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2010
I made this as a side for a pork tenderloin roast and it was great! I had to make a few substitutions, but it still tasted great. Instead of using cream of chicken soup, I had to use cream of broccoli... and also instead of cheez whiz, I used Campbell's condensed cheese sauce( canned ). I also added a few handfuls of shredded cheese into the rice and also as a topping. The cheese browned very nicely on top and make the dish even more delicious!

Slow Cooker Blackberry Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2010
I made this for me and my hubby tonight as a trial run cause our 8 yr old daughter wasn't home. We both liked it alot. Considering neither one of us is a wine drinker, the taste was different. I had read the reviews and a couple people suggested using the juices from the crock pot instead of more wine, and that was what I did. I added a little more honey to it for taste, but to me it did not thicken up enough. Next time I will add a little cornstarch to it, just to have a thicker sauce. All in all I made the roast exactly as about and it turned out great. We will definitely be making this again!

I tried this recipe tonight and this was the first time I ever made homemade meatballs. I must say, this was an extremely good meal. My husband and a friend of mine had it with me and they both thought it was really good. I will definitely make this again!

Chilled Crab Dip

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2010
I made this for a football game party at our house. It was good and everyone liked it, including myself. The only thing I can say I needed, was extra cocktail sauce. It would have been nice to put more on after the initial layer was gone...lol

Grilled Halibut Steaks

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2010
Me and my husband decided to make fish for the first time. I went to the store and bought it fresh, and went home to make dinner. He wasn't especially fond of them, but he is a picky eater, I thought they were okay, I did like the seasoning, but we both agreed there was still a fishy taste. I may try again with this recipe as the base, but will be adding to it to try and change it to my liking more. Also, I cooked the steaks in foil packets at 325 for 25 minutes, they were AWESOME on texture. They stayed moist and came apart nicely!

Parsley Red Potatoes

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2010
I just made these recently with Baked Halibut, I did a slight change to them. Now I only used 6 red potatoes, they were larger than the typical small ones. I chopped the red potatoes into pieces before I boiled them, and added an entire stick of butter, parsley, and a little black pepper and adobe seasoning with pepper. Instead of tossing the potatoes, because they were not whole anymore, I took a wooden spoon and started to stir them. Because they were nice and soft, they started to mash together a little and the some skins also separated and mixed in. Me and my husband loved them and will definitely be making them again.

Creamed Chipped Beef On Toast

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2006
I figured out that I have to almost double the sauce recipe. I still only use one jar of dried beef, but with more sauce, it's not as salty. Though it is definitely something that you can make quickly for everyone to eat. We make all the time.
