Oven Scrambled Eggs

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2012
by far he fluffiest, easiest, scrambled eggs I have ever made...good too. I cut the reciepe in 4 and added cheese, cooked for closer to 1/2 hour, but could of been because it was sharing the oven. I would do it again.

Blue Cheese Crusted Filet Mignon with Port Wine Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2011
So hubby was worried when he saw that I was putting a steak in the oven instead of grilling it. But have no fear...first bite.."Wow, that's good......that's really good". Never doubt Allrecipies! I made as written, added some sauteed mushrooms. Very expensive dish, but a very nice treat.

Marinated Baked Pork Chops

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2013
I thought that was really good. I made two batches of the sauce/marinade. one to marinate the pork chops in (maybe an hour?) and the other i used to baste while cooking. Really flavorful. My chops were about 1/2 to 3/4 inch thick and cooked in about 30 minutes. My picky 11 yr old son who usually complains throughout dinner didn't say a word....well, i guess you can't talk when your mouth is stuffed.

Easy Shepherd's Pie

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2012
After his third helping, my husband said, "that was really good" (ya think?) and my extremely picky son had his mouth full and could only give me a thumbs up while shaking his head. Only put corn in, used "four cheese" instant potatoes, but still added the garlic and cream cheese, very good.

Very good, made as directed, next time pour more of the orig batter so it's more 1/2 and 1/2. really good though, probably doesn't need whipped cream

Banana Crepes

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2013
FAN-TAS-TIC. after devouring his, my husband said enthusiasically "that was good, you can make those anytime you want". Really good. I added some cinnamon to the crepe mix, but probably not enough to be noticed. Single batch made 11 crepes (6 inch). super good, excellent christmas morning treat.

No cinnamon? I was apprehensive, all my sweet potato dishes have cinnamon. I made as written, and i think they turned out pretty tasty.

Bananas Foster Belgian Waffles

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2014
Sensational. Absolutely tasty. I used walnuts as that's what i had on hand, otherwise made as stated. Tried the waffle by itself, could definately see how others said it was "eggy". But with the topping, it was amazing. However, I must say that it was very rich and filling, 3/4 of one waffle was plenty serving for each of us. Made four waffles total. Might make it again because so yummy, but it was more of a special treat than a normal rotation.

Burrito Pie

Reviewed: May 24, 2005
I love mexican food. I couldn't wait to try this recipe, and I wasn't disappointed. I cut the recipe in half and left out the olives, it was perfect for the two of us (just enough for leftovers the next day)

American Lasagna

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2005
My first homemade lasagna! It received great reviews...yeah! I did tweek it a little like others suggested by using less meat and less salt, and a smidge more spices. I also added a splash of red wine, next time I will probably do more. I added another 14 oz can of diced tomatoes, but that wasn't enough, it was still a little dry

Chocolate Chip Cheese Ball

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2005
Really, really good. I divided the ball in half (refridgerated for 24 hours), rolled one in mini m&m's and the other in chopped walnuts. The one w/m&m's disappeared, the one with walnuts was tried, but obviously not the favorite. Next time it's m&m's all the way. Big hit at the party!

Yummy Sweet Potato Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2005
Yummy it is! I added a bit of cinnamon because I couldn't imagine eating sweet potatoes w/o it. I topped it w/half marshmellows and 1/2 of the topping from the recipe...the topping from the recipe was first to go, next time no marshmellows!

Ham and Cheese Strudel

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2006
This is so good! I don't use the low fat stuff or egg substitute. I use about 6 eggs & scramble them like usual and then add the sauce. Makes about 6, we usually have leftovers which are only okay the next morning, but still good.
