Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2012
That was pretty good, nice, different, probably won't make again, hence the 4, but still good enough for a try.

Easy Shepherd's Pie

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2012
After his third helping, my husband said, "that was really good" (ya think?) and my extremely picky son had his mouth full and could only give me a thumbs up while shaking his head. Only put corn in, used "four cheese" instant potatoes, but still added the garlic and cream cheese, very good.

Steak Tips with Mushroom Sauce

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2012
Hold the phone! My husband actually said "this is good" (i only know if he likes it by how many refills he gets) and my son, who doesn't like anything I make unless its pancakes or tacos, agreed with him and said "yeah, it is pretty good mom" HOLY COW. I made as is except I halved the recipe and threw it in a crock pot. Well, I used the same ingrediants that is. I sauteed the mushrooms & onion w/garlic in some butter, tossed the steak in flour before sauting in olive oil, than I threw everything in the crockpot, low, about 7 hours, and voila...the boys actually speak

Easy Mouthwatering Baked Ravioli

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2012
Well, I made as is with the exception of the spinach (forgot to get it). I hesitated with the salt, seemed like a lot, but decided to just go for it....WRONG. It was actually pretty good and easy to make, but WAYYYY TOO MUCH SALT. Smelled great while cooking, very easy to make, but did I mention that there was too much salt?

Best Ever Slow Cooker Italian Beef Roast

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2012
Well, tried to make as written as I am one of the first reviewers...turned out I didn't have an onion (thought I did, so didn't buy one), So I used some onion powder. It smelled great, and tasted pretty good. I think it's worth a try, but I won't make it again, and I don't think the onion thing made that big of a difference.

Good. I was concerned about the steak sauce. Used A-1...not bad. I think i used too much lemon, but overall very good.

Burgundy Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2012
Smelled sooo good while cooking, extremely easy to make as well. 9 yr old hated it, said it had no flavor whatsoever. Hubby scarfed it down, but said no to leftovers, I said thought it was ok but not worth making again.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Squares

Reviewed: May 23, 2012
kind of grainy, maybe i blended my graham crackers too thin??? but, definately tasted like a giant reeses. I used Jif peanut butter, and didn't put butter in the chocolate. cut small squares, probably best served with a nice glass of cold milk

Artichoke Chicken

Reviewed: May 9, 2012
Made mostly as is, used the 1/2 mayo 1/2 sour cream thing. Hubby really liked it...really liked it, but he likes to tweek. He said maybe next time make it thinner (the sauce)...maybe add some feta cheese and serve over egg noodles. Just his suggestion in case anyone wants to try it.....oh, and my picky 9 year old even liked it...I was expecting to hear yuckies out of him...but he agreed with his dad that it was really flavorful.....btw...the picky 9 year old is demanding that I erase that last comment...sorry kid, I speak only the truth

Baked Pasta with Sausage and Baby Portobello Mushroom White Sauce

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2012
So, my husband literally inhaled his first plate (are you hungry honey, or did you like it?) inhaled his second plate (i had barely gotten halfway through my first) and even though he said he was full, went in for a third helping. I made the recipe as stated and will definately be making it again. Even my picky 9 year old asked when i would be making it again before he was even done eating....yep, it's a keeper.

Peanut Butter and Banana French Toast

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2012
good, enjoyed it. tried one with pb, one with nutella, and one with pb and nutella and split the sandwiches umong the three of us. I think i preferred the nutella/pb, my 9 yr old, liked the pb only, and my husband was undecided. Glad I tried it, but the likelyhood of me making it again is not good, i guess because it's more like a breakfast treat than a normal rotation breakfast.

Fabulous Wet Burritos

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2012
I used 2 cans of ench sauce instead of the tomato soup. I was thinking that it was just ok but not good enough to make again. Hubby inhaled his first one (thought he was just hungry) and put down another one pretty quickly. 9 yr old didn't like it. As I was cleanning up, hubby said it was good and asked that I make it again (he really isn't that vocal about dinner). I mentioned that I thought it was just because he was hungry, he said partailly, but mostly because he liked it. Ok, guess I'll make it again.

Campbell's Kitchen French Onion Burgers

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2012
I'd like to give it a 3.5. It was easy, good, and worth a try. I love french onion soup and really enjoy using it in different recipes, so I was excited to try this. It was good. Nothing spectacular. Great if you want easy burgers without getting out the BBQ. but I likely won't make it again.

Bananas Foster Chimichangas

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2012
UN - BE- LEIV - ABLE. Ok, so, truth is, I had to change it a little. I don't have any spiced rum, so I used vanilla, I also thought cinnamon was needed and added approx 1/2 tsp. Put them in 10 inch flour burrito tortillas - bad idea - they really should be rolled in the thinner flour torts. I ended up dumping it out of the tortillas and just putting it over vanilla ice cream. SOOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOOD! There was a decent amount left over after the three of us had a bowl, and I advised my husband that if he didn't want to sleep with the dog for the next week, there would still be some left when I got home from work, they were so good that I think he may be sleeping with the dog!
