YUM! I halved the recipe, but probably had enough filling to make two more. put cherries on top of one of the sticks, really liked it.Very easy to make.

Banana Crepes

FAN-TAS-TIC. after devouring his, my husband said enthusiasically "that was good, you can make those anytime you want". Really good. I added some cinnamon to the crepe mix, but probably not enough to be noticed. Single batch made 11 crepes (6 inch). super good, excellent christmas morning treat.

Brown Sugar Smokies

kind of fun to make. tossed the smokies in brown sugar, than the bacon, than rolled em up, popped em in the oven for about 20 minutes at 375. threw them all in a crock pot and put in fridge. Next day turned em on at about 8:30 (on high), and at our 1230 potluck they were almost perfect. I think next time maybe cooking a little longer before the crockpot. But definately a tasty little appetizer, especially for the meat lovers out there.

Garlic Pork Tenderloin with Mushroom Gravy

nice, tender, easy to make. tasted great, I did however, add a small splash of sherry. great recipe. I also don't use canned mushrooms ever. Baby bellas worked just fine.

Doggie Birthday Cake

didn't have any carrots on hand, so made without. words cannot say how crazy my dog went for this thing. seriously, if i just walked by the pan, she ran over, sat real nice and tried shaking my hand (her way of saying she wants a treat)

Beer Batter

wasnt' bad, but wasn't overly good either. lacked some flavor...maybe it was the beer? I used bud lt (the only beer that is allowed in this house)and chicken. Maybe some more seasoning..basil? oregeno? paprika? something.

tasted sooo good. i had problems with the crust, maybe i didn't let it cool long enough? the white layer wasn't as fluffy as i remember it being, but over all....scrumptious

Toll House Walnut Pie

Not too bad. I called this Derby Pie growing up. Its really sweet, but good. Served it with vanilla ice cream and drizzled with some chocolate syrup. Pretty much just like i remembered it. My son just told me that he really liked the pie. Didn't give it a 5 because i think it could have been a little bit better. I used 1 stick plus 3 tbsp butter. seemed fine.

I'm sorry, but we just didn't care for it. It wasnt BAD, but honestly think Prego would have been better. Made as written (including all the water) except i halved the recipe. kind of bland. disappointing

my husband would not stop talking about how good it was...even hours after dinner...he just randomly said...dinner was really good.....that has to be in my top three favorite dishes....wow...that was just outstanding...guess he liked it. made exactly as written except only 1/2 tsp seasoned salt (which turned out to be plenty)...honey, make that again soon....okay honey

Just Like Wendy's® Chili

Very good, i halved the recipe for the three of us and had plenty for leftovers. A little more spicy than i like (i'm a wimp) and i used the mild chili seasoning packet. put cheese and sour cream on it...yum....oh, and my 11 year old cooked it (with my assistance, but he did 90%, that's how easy it is). Left out the green peppers, we don't like them. As far as just like Wendy's? can't honestly remark on that, it's been a loooooonnnnnngggg time since we had Wendy's. But a great chili recipe.

Maple Baked Pork Loin Roast

My boys raved over this the whole night. and they rarely make comments. Hubby had to force himself to stop eating it so he could have leftovers to make pulled pork sandwiches tomorrow. Made as written except after searing the meat, threw it in a crockpot for about 7 hours on low.

Simple Roasted Butternut Squash

YUM. super easy, peeled with a veggie peeler. added some cinnamon and a little parsley. i liked it. the oil cooked off, next time might spritz with butter after cooking.
