My favorite things to cook
I love making all kinds of pasta dishes, stir fry dishes, one dish meals, etc. I'm also always looking for great dishes that do not use meat. We are not strictly vegetarian, but we have drastically decreased the amount of meat that we eat.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Christmas Eve dinner at my moms: Bread shaped like a bear and my mom's homemade beef and vegetable soup.

German Cut-Out Cookies
Easy and tasty. I needed a quick recipe to make cutouts with my 3 year old. Fun to make and we all loved eating them too!

Slow Cooker Taco Soup
This was delicious! It makes a lot...I could barely fit all of the ingredients into my regular-sized crock pot. It was filled all the way to the top. I cooked it on high for a few hours then turned it down to low for an hour. I didn't have 8 hours of time when I made it. Very tasty!
