This was pretty good. It was very easy to make, which I liked. I would make it again.

Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich with Garlic Mayo

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2008
This recipe was awesome! We had a large ribeye steak to use for lunch somehow so we found this recipe and tried it. We seasoned and grilled the steak first (until it was about medium rare). Then, we sliced the steak really thin and put it in the pan with the onions, peppers, and we added mushrooms to the mixture. It was so delicious. It was one of the best recipes we've ever gathered from this site. Highly recommend this one!

Sangria! Sangria!

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2008
Pretty good sangria. Not sure if it's similar to the real thing or not but it was pretty good and I would make it again. I liked it better with some ginger ale added to it also.

Busy Day Chicken Rice Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2008
I didn't expect much out of this casserole but it actually turned out pretty good. I only used 3 chicken breasts and about half of the onion soup packet. I also used cream of broccoli soup in place of the cream of celery soup. Pretty good overall.

Cheesy Vegetable Lasagna

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2007
This was labor intensive but worthwhile. Loved the veggies in it and it made enough for us to freeze some for later. I did take another reviewer's suggestion and add almost a stick of butter to the sauce while it was thickening. Very good recipe. Very cheesy.

BBQ Pork for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2007
I thought this was decent but the sauce was too thick for my taste. I would have liked it better thinned out a bit.

Maple Glazed Ribs

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2007
I followed this recipe exactly except for using the crock pot on low for 8 hours. Dry and not tender. Usually the crock pot is safe....not with this recipe. Maybe adding some water to this recipe would help slow cook the meat.

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2007
Very impressed! I halved the recipe. I also dredged the chuck roast in flour and a little garlic powder first and browned each side before placing into the crock pot. As another person suggested, I added potatoes, carrots, celery and onion 3 hours before it was done. I also cooked it on low all day long...about 10 hours total. It was amazing! This recipe is a keeper!

Carrots in Dill Butter

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2007
I really liked this recipe and will make again. The only thing I have to say is not to leave them warming in the pan for too long because mine started to burn because of the butter. Next time I will plan for these to finish cooking right on time, not early.

Jan's Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2007
I didn't believe all of the bad reviews that this recipe got since so many people had raved about it. I made it for a birthday cake and it turned out so hard. We barely had a bite and threw it away.

Banana Wheat Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2007
I just made this recipe for my 17 month old (for easy breakfasts) and it turned out great. I halved the recipe. I took the advice of some of the other reviews and used unsweetened applesauce instead of oil. I used 2 mashed bananas and I added 2 tablespoons of plain yogurt. Came out really moist and not too sweet. I made them as mini muffins (it made 1 full tray of 24 mini muffins) and separated them into sandwich bags with 2 or 3 in each bag and froze them. Oh, I also should say that I only baked them for about 20 minutes. Great recipe.

Perfect Pumpkin Pie

I doubled the recipe and used a deep dish frozen pie crust. Then I covered the edges while it baked and it came out perfectly. Great recipe!

Slow Cooker Stuffing

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2006
Convenient but not the best stuffing. I even took some other's advice and altered it a little. It started out too dry and by the end it was way too wet. The taste was fine but it wasn't very appetizing to look at.

Vegan Brownies

These were a hit but I cut the oil in half also. There's no need for that much oil because with half it was plenty moist.
