Green Bean Stir-Fry

Got a big bag of green beans from my CSA and was stumped for what to do since I have NEVER liked green beans! Tried this recipe and ate every last bean...super easy and really yummy.

My daughter and I felt like baking and just looked online for something we had all the ingredients for. What a surprise to have stumbled upon such a wonderful cake! I'm a certified chocoholic but even I am amazed every time I bite into a piece of this lemon cake. This one's a keeper!

Pumpkin Cake III

This was a big hit at Thanksgiving and it made enough for everyone to bring a few slices home! Delicious and easy to make. I topped it with the Cream Cheese Frosting II recipe.

Bread Machine Challah II

I love the taste and texture of this challah, but can't seem to get mine to rise properly. I am giving it four stars b/c it is absolutely addictive and everyone enjoys it, but I sure wish I could make it fluffier. Have tried increasing the yeast but it hasn't made much difference.

Cousin David's Slow Cooker Brisket

I actually don't eat beef, but have made this several times for my meat-loving husband, kids and in-laws for holidays and they have gobbled it up with rave reviews. Couldn't be simpler!

All Day Macaroni and Cheese

I'm not sure why there are so many bad reviews about this recipe...I was pretty wary when I made it after reading them the other day, but it turned out to be pretty delicious. We gobbled it up. I only cooked it for about 3.5-4 hours after so many people said it dried out. Next time I'll cook it for about 3-3.5 hours instead since the edges did overcook. May also eliminate one of the eggs since my husband likes the mushier mac, although I am happy with either kind. I also only used 3 cups of cheese since it just seemed like an awful lot to me. BTW, I feel like the person who found chunks of egg in her mac must not have premixed the ingredients as directed...I don' t know how else that could have happened. It was all perfectly blended.

Crab Quiche II

This one's a keeper. Even my meat-and-potatoes husband will happily eat this quiche for dinner. Serve along with fruit or salad for a yummy girls' lunch...it could not be any easier to make.

Cranberry Bars

Easy and yummy! My husband was disappointed that we couldn't keep more for ourselves instead of bringing them to our hostess. He liked a bar with a scoop of ice cream on top. Perfect fall dessert.

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

These were really delicious. I wanted to make a special breakfast for guests, and the muffins, along with scrambled eggs with cheese, melon, coffee, and juice, were a huge hit! Even my toddler kept asking for more.
