Poppy Seed Chicken II

Reviewed: Aug. 30, 2007
I cooked extra chicken earlier in the week, knowing I was going to try this recipe. After a most trying day at work, I pulled out all the ingredients, and Wham, bam, thank-you ma'am, it was assembled and in the oven. (I used reduced fat sour cream, reduced fat crackers, 3 TBSP. butter, and at least 3 TBSP poppy seeds.) It smelled insanely good cooking. Husband, teenage daughter and I loved its creamy goodness. Cooked rice on the side and a green salad. It IS super high in fat, just like me, but what the heck....all things in moderation. I will definitely make this again, just for the sheer ease of it....but not too often, because it might make my already clogged arteries completely blocked.

Homemade Chicken Parmigiana

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2007
To me, this recipe was just.....OK. Maybe I'm not a chicken parm. person. My husband liked it. It was good for a "one time" recipe. I probably won't make this recipe again.

Southwestern Egg Rolls

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2007
Yummy. I used egg roll rappers (thought tortillas would be too thick), and baked in oven as per other reviewers. Served with Ranch dressing mixed with some chili powder, to taste.

Crunchy Tossed Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2007
This salad was a big hit with the family. A quick basic go-to, easy to prepare salad. You can add any extra "fixins" that you want. Thanks.

Baked Pork Chops I

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2007
Easy to make. Short ingredient list. My husband and I both enjoyed this recipe, and he asked me to make it again sometime. I agree, and I will.

Cream Puff Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2007
Just made this for the bunco girls. Everyone loved it. I followed a previous reviewer's idea of pouring a layer of Chocolate Fudge Magic Shell between the crust and the pudding. I will make this again. Also, there were no clumps of cream cheese as others have had...I have a Kitchen Aid mixer and I used the wire whisk attachment and mixed ROOM TEMPERATURE cream cheese with milk, pouring the milk VERY slowly...no lumps.
