Bev's Orange Chicken

You must like chicken thighs (I don't like chicken on the bone, but took a shot). I didn't find this very orangy and I'd probably add more soy sauce. Also might want to sweeten with honey. I didn't follow exactly though. I used 12 thighs, doubled the soy and OJ to make more sauce as others suggested. I also took off most of the skin and still found it greasy. My kids are eating it doused with ketchup right now. My husband opted for hot sauce.

Quick and Almost-Professional Buttercream Icing

Very tasty and easy as this was my first attempt at my own icing. However, I had to double the recipe in order to ice a small cake. Next time I'll add more sugar to make stiffer...my piping was scary!

Lentil Soup

4 stars because it needed a few extras for flavor. I doubled the recipe and subbed canned vegetable broth for 1/3 of the water (all I had in the pantry - It could have used more). I added an extra garlic clove. It also needed quite a bit of salt. I left out the basil because I didn't have any and used a drained can of spinach. I added the listed amount of vinegar and couldn't taste it at all. Added parm at the end and it was fabulous. I don't miss the basil.

Mini Cheesecakes I

Easy to make and made a nice presentation. I did feel like they needed to bake longer than 15 minutes. I did 20 minutes and they turned out great.

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

I love this recipe. I change it a little every time and it's always great. I do add more chicken than it calls for to give the soup a little more bulk. It makes a better meal that way. I NEVER skip the beer. It gives it a unique taste. MMMM.

Buffalo Chicken Dip

Excellent. I don't like canned chicken so I used chicken breast and chopped it. I recommend adding the ranch and wing sauce to the chicken based on your desired thickness. Mine was a little runny, but still really great. Everyone loved it! Great with celery, not so great with crackers. Next time I'm going to try french bread.

Artichoke Chicken

I love this recipe and make it all the time. I've even given it to friends. I make it with the flash-frozen chicken breasts that come in the big bags and I cook for 40 minutes. I serve over penne. We love it.
