Poblano Corn Chowder
This is an excellent recipe! I did make a couple of modifications: added an extra can of creamed corn, skipped the sugar, just used a pint of heavy cream and used half and half for the rest. I also put the shrimp in the food processor for the best texture consistency. Family raved about it - silky, full of corn and seafood flavor and a nice hit of heat from the poblano chile. Like the other reviewers mentioned, not exactly low-calorie, but absolutely delicious!! Take the advice of using the 'Better Than Bouillion' fish base - it definitely adds a flavor dimension that is well worth it. This recipe is a keeper in my house.

Giovanna's Yummy Cheese Onions
This recipe rated 5 stars with me - and I'm a hard marker! It came out of the oven hot and creamy - slightly browned on the top. The family raved about it - even my daughter who dislikes onions. Used Ritz crackers rather than breadcrumbs. I think the secret to making this dish is to cook the sliced onions with a gentle saute first - take your time! When they start becoming translucent - thats when they are ready. This receipe will be a keeper in this house.

Tasty Grilled Hoisin Chicken
This recipe came out OUTSTANDING. I marinated chicken thighs and drumsticks overnight in a ziploc bag. After grilling the chicken under medium-low heat for about 20 minutes, I brushed on a little Hoisin to finish. Highly recommended.
