Wheat Crackers

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2005
I made it with 1/2 cup wheat germ, 1/4 cup flax seed meal, and 2 1/2 cups wheat flour. Then I added 3/4 tsp garlic salt, a sprinkle of parmeasan cheese, and 1/2 Tbsp of italian seasoning. It rolled out to 3 cookie sheets. Very good and yummy! I'll make them again!

Cookie Dough for Ice Cream (Eggless)

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2005
I made this just to eat--not to put in ice cream. It wasn't sweet enough. Add 1/2 the water first, and then add in the rest if necessary. Otherwise it may be too wet. It would probably be okay if the ice cream was pretty sweet. Too blah by itself though.

Raspberry and Almond Shortbread Thumbprints

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2005
Absolutely fantastic! They don't need the glaze! I'm not a big fan of almond extract, so I used 1/4 tsp of it and 1/2 tsp of vanilla. Topped with apricot jam. Great!

Jewel Swirls

Reviewed: May 21, 2005
Fantastic! I was in a hurry, so I just mixed everything together (including the jell-o mix), rolled them into balls, and popped them into the oven. They turned out fantastic! Soft and just the right texture. These are definately a keeper! **Added later: These cookies did not stay soft long. I loved them at first; but, a day later (they were in a closed tupperware), they were dry and much less tasty. I reccomend cooking them right before eating, and freeze leftovers.** I added 1 tsp vanilla and an additional 1/3 cup sugar for taste.

Old-Fashioned Soft Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: May 14, 2005
This is good if you want a light and fluffy sugar cookie. I didn't like it though. It was too airy. They didn't round out well in the oven (I wouldn't give them to anyone looking like they did). Taste was okay. Nothing fantastic. I won't be making them again.
