Teriyaki Pork Tenderloin

The timing on the meat was perfect! I only had 2 hours to marinate but it was still fantastic!

I'm giving this 4 stars because of the overall product but just for information sake there was ENTIRELY too much peppermint flavoring in there. It left a bad taste in my mouth, almost like medicine. Gonna make again with 1/2 tsp. of each or maybe 1 tsp. of vanilla.

Garlic Mashed Red Potatoes

I thought these were great! Definitely didn't miss (too much) the stick of butter I normally put in mashed potatos! Very tasty and the parmesan added a nice flavor!

Chocolate Toffee Crunch Bars

These were DELISH!!! The only thing I will do differently next time is increase the butter in the graham cracker layer to 1/2 c. The bottom layer didn't hold together completely. Fantastic!

Cheese Straws

I thought these were really bland. After they were cooked I grated even more cheese sprinkled it on top and gave them a quick broil to melt the cheese. That was better but still not what I expected.

Hot Chocolate Mix II

Even after adding two boxes of pudding mix it still wasn't chocolatey enough. I added a full can of cocoa and another cup and a half of confectioners sugar to the recipe and it finally was good. I gave this out as client gifts along with homemade marshmallows and got wow reviews!

Emily's Famous Marshmallows

I have never tried making homemade marshmallows before so this was a real test. I thought they were good but sticky and hard to work with . Next time I will use the cornstarch tip because I seem to be using a lot of powdered sugar to keep them from sticking together and now they seem a little too sweet. I crushed some candy canes in the food processor and dusted the marshmallows with them then after cutting I shook the sticky marshmallows in a bag with some more candy cane and powdered sugar. They looked beautiful and tasted great! Definitely going to make again and try a few alterations.
