Twice Baked Sweet Potatoes
This would be fine to just do as a casserole. I read the first comment from the person who submitted the recipe. I think it should just be a casserole in an 8x8 baking dish. But I'd do pecans(not walnuts) and mix 2T melted butter with 1/4 c brown sugar and pour that over the top, then top off with the pecans and bake 15 minutes. The flavor was exceptional.

Get a Husband Brunswick Stew
This is a good recipe, but it needed potatoes in it(which i added) and a little bit more flavor. I added more corn, a can of crushed tomatoes, and 1.5 c bbq sauce, and also Old Bay seasoning. that gave it a great taste. But this is a great recipe. I just am so used to MY old family recipe. Todd(my hubby) ate two big bowls and my 3yr old enjoyed it. Great time in St. Thomas!!! Had fun! ANYONE WHO MAKES THIS RECIPE NEEDS A PAMPERED CHEF FOOD CHOPPER! BIG TIME SAVER!!!!!

Iced Pumpkin Cookies
I give this recipe 3.5 stars if you make it as is. did one batch as is, then tried something new. I added allspice(1T), 2T of orange juice(freshly squeezed from an orange) and 2t grated orange zest(from inside of peel, and some crushed pecans to the icing. I added allspice(1/2t)and 1C orange flavored craisins to the batter. I simmered the icing over low heat stirring constantly to make the icing more like a glaze. OH MY STARS!!!! TRY THIS! The glaze seeps in a tiny bit to the cookie and it makes it like a mini cake. the craisins add a ton of moisture and added flavor and it is a party in the mouth. TRUST ME on this. Happy baking! Store in airtight container. they can dry out in a hurry.
