Slow Cooker Stuffing

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2012
This is a simple recipe that worked perfectly. As may reviewers suggested, I added just enough chicken broth to moisten the bread, then just checked it periodically. I used very dry Pepperidge farm bread crumbs and used slightly less broth than the recipe called for. I'm making it twice more this week for Thanksgiving dinners!

Lemon Poppy Seed Bundt Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2007
This recipe was quite good, but mine was a little dry. I took it out after 40 minutes, so start checking it early! Also, I didn't find it necessary to soak the poppy seeds in milk; I just added them in plain, and only used half as many as the recipe calls for. I also added about 1 tsp. lemon zest. My guests adored this cake and asked for the recipe!

White Chili II

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2006
Great recipe! I didn't have any green onions, so I chopped up a yellow onion instead. Also, we like spice, so I used all the ribs and seeds from the jalapeños and it was just right.

Favorite Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2006
Excellent cookies! I did use softened butter instead of margarine, and I only cooked for 8 minutes at 350 (or 9 minutes without the criss-cross on top), because I like these cookies chewy.

Three Cheese Manicotti II

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2006
This is a very easy recipe, but it turns out great. I did use fresh basil and parsley, but otherwise, followed everything exactly. Terrific!

Caramel Popcorn

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2006
This is a very simple recipe that makes great caramel popcorn! I used a nonstick roasting pan to mix it and bake it, but coated it with butter just in case, and I used about 1 cup of unpopped corn. As suggested by others, I also baked it for just 45 minutes. It's great stuff!

Butter Rich Spritz Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2005
This is an excellent spritz recipe! They are very easy, and worked perfectly with my cookie press. I didn't have almond extract, but they were great just with the vanilla.

Almond Crunch

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2005
Almond crunch is fantastic, and very addictive! It is very easy to make and is delicious. One thing I would recommend is to extend the foil over at least two ends of the jelly roll pan before you pour in the crunch, because when you tilt the pan to spread it around, the foil just kind of moves with it. This is going to be my holiday gift for the neighbors this year.

Whipped Cream

Reviewed: May 20, 2005
This was quick, easy, and turned out perfectly. It's not too sweet, but you can easily add more powdered sugar if you'd like.

Chicken Delicious

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2003
This was a really easy meal to make for dinner and the whole family (including my six year-old) enjoyed it. I didn't have celery salt, so I used some celery seed instead and I cooked it for about five hours on low, served over rice. I also only used five chicken breasts. Great recipe!

Carla's Fruit Dip

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2003
This is super easy and is delicious! The kids all gobbled up the fruit when they had this dip to go along with it, and the adults loved it, too. When I make it, I'm sure to let the cream cheese soften first so it will mix smoothly.

Broccoli and Tortellini Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2003
This is an excellent recipe! I followed others' advice and -- blanched the broccoli, used Craisins instead of raisins, omitted the onion and doubled the dressing. I chilled it for about an hour before serving. It was a huge hit at our picnic and several people asked for the recipe.

Monkey Bread II

Reviewed: May 13, 2003
This was my first time making bread in the bread machine without a mix and it was easy and delicious! I omitted the nuts because we have allergies in our family, but it was still great.

Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2002
These are delicious and very easy! I was a little bit low on banana, so I added about a half cup of applesauce and they were great. My five-year old thinks they're the best ever.

Grilled Salmon I

Reviewed: Jun. 5, 2002
This is a very quick and easy recipe that is great! I actually just combine all the ingredients in a Ziploc bag and marinate the salmon before grilling. Even my five year-old loves it!

Grilled Potatoes and Onion

Reviewed: Jun. 5, 2002
I tried this before and the potatoes took quite a while to cook, so this time, I boiled them until they were barely fork tender before cooking. I also used a drizzle of olive oil instead of butter and added some parsley and they were great! I cook these indirectly, above the grill, so I don't have a problem with them burning.

Baked Dijon Salmon

This was very quick and easy, but good! We omitted the pecans due to a nut allergy, but it was still delicious.

Caramel Snack Mix

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2001
I was looking for something to make for a Christmas snack gift and this worked perfectly. It is extremely quick and easy, but everyone loves it and many have requested the recipe! I made a batch with macadamia nuts and another with cashews and they were great, too.
