Roasted Potato and Garlic Salad

I really liked this... left out peppers (although I think I would've liked them in hubby doesn't like them) and added green onions at the end. I had 2 servings and couldn't stop picking at them. If you like balsamic this is a great alternative to mayo based potato salad.

Urban Legend Chocolate Chip Cookies

I've made these cookies for years now and I always get tons of compliments. The only change I make is switching up the chips and nuts. My fav is to use half pecans and half walnuts and a mix of milk chocolate and semi-sweet. And make sure you take them out of the oven as soon as the edges start to brown. For a soft chewy cookie they almost don't look cooked enough. Great recipe!

Outrageous Chocolate Chip Cookies

These were tasty! I disagree with those saying they were bland. I love my sweets and I thought they were just the right combo of flavor. I did use 1/2 milk chocolate chips and 1/2 semi-sweet. The only problem I had was the second batch burning a little on the bottom before they looked done. As some others have mentioned- don't wait until they look brown on top or the bottoms will be a wee bit charred ;)

Oh My Gosh Muffins

These were pretty good. A little dense but maybe because I added a bit too much banana (Had 3 that I just wanted to use up). Nice flavour though with the nuts AND chocolate. *Keep in mind that these will not rise very much... I underfilled my first batch...*

Banana Crumb Muffins

My family LOVED these muffins. I thought they were pretty good. The crumble on top is a nice touch. If anything I just found them to be a little dense. Maybe something I did...?

Dry Ranch Style Seasoning for Dip or Dressing

This recipe was a great find to whip up at the last minute. I added the above ingredients to about 3/4 Cup each light sour cream and light mayo and it tasted awesome. Almost just like store-bought. I also added a dash of cayenne for some zip.

I have made this a few times now and it always turns out quite well. Its very simple and tastes delicious the next day. I add a little touch of olive oil and parm to moisten it up before reheating.

These were just alright. I dont think the brussel sprouts I used were very fresh- maybe thats why I found them to taste somewhat bitter.

Tuna Noodle Casserole I

Pretty good, and just what I was feeling like. Next time I would add a little milk as the sauce seemed a little too thick (especially the next day)and I would say this makes two servings not four. I'll definitely make it again.

Extra Easy Hummus

I have tried a few times making hummus from scratch and was never very pleased with the taste. I made a few changes (no cumin, added 1tsp of lemon juice and 1/2tsp of peanut butter) but I really liked the taste without the tahini.

Awesome Bow Tie Pasta

This is a great, light-tasting salad- a really nice change from the creamy pasta salads I usually make. I used chives and cherry tomatoes and I also added some thinly sliced bell peppers.

Cheese Ravioli with Three Pepper Topping
