I was also somewhat intimidated by the recipe having never made an Alfredo from scratch. It turned out magnificent!!! Patience is needed when stirring in the milk and cream, but it does become creamy. Yes, lots of sauce but the recipe was for 8 afterall. Plan to experiment in the future. Broccoli sounds good, shrimp maybe, the mushrooms were wonderful!!!
