Alaska Salmon Bake with Pecan Crunch Coating

Clone of a Cinnabon

I followed the recipe and temped the milk but found the dough very tough to roll out. Also found the cinnamon buns very doughy after they were cooked......

Roasted Chicken with Risotto and Caramelized Onions

Easy to make. Used Herb Provencales seasoning, added 2 cups of turkey, left over frozen carrots from the xmas dinner and cut the potatoes really small. Added chicken broth instead of the boullion. Also used Pillsbury pie crust from the fridge section. Super easily and SOOOO good!

Veronica's Apple Pancakes

This pancakes went over very well with my picky eaters. I did follow the advise of others and added more cinnamon, sugar (used Slenda) and milk to thin it out slightly. Will definately make this recipe again.

Escargots Vol-au-Vent

I made this for Valentines day dinner and it was fantastic. I didn't have the puff pastry shells so I rolled out regular puff pastry then wrapped it around the escargots and mushroom etc. I had to cook it a little longer than stated. closer to 15-17 mins and still the dough inside wasn't cooked as well as I had liked......

Maple Salmon

Roasted Pork Loin

We followed the directions for our 1 kg pork roast and cooked it for 1 hr and 15 min. Temp was 160 with the thermometer and was a bit dry (the juices in the pan made it perfect). Next time will check it after 1 hr. Was great with mashed potates and beans. Even my picky kids loved it. Wonderful new years 2006 dinner! Thanks

Oven Roasted Potatoes

I had to cook my potatoes for much longer than the 20-30 minutes.....closer to 45min. Eased up on the red pepper flakes because of the kids. It was very yummy!

Seven Layer Taco Dip

Great recipe although next time I would drain the salsa as we found it made it watery and probably eliminate the chopped tomatoes. We added Jalapeno's to kick it up a bit. Will make it again!

I added italitan sausage and garlic powder. I use cottage cheese instead of ricotta. I also use the oven ready noodles so I have to add extra liquid so added about 1/4 c water and drizzled red wine too....it was delicious! My whole family enjoyed it.

Best Brownies

I doubled the recipe and cooked it in a 9x13 pan. It didn't take me any longer to cook it. I also made it with 5 eggs (it was doubled) and it was too cake like. The recipe was ok...kids liked it.
