Blueberry Crumb Bars

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2007
Easy to make, tasted okay. The blueberry middle rocks (I used fresh blueberries), but the "crumb" part is tasteless (even though I used butter). These were average in my opinion, and I probably won't make them again.

Four-Grain Bread

Reviewed: Jun. 26, 2007
Wonderful! I made this recipe exactly has stated. Has an excellent taste and texture. My boyfriend and I have used this bread for sandwiches (ham, tuna, meatloaf, turkey, etc) and to accompany stew. Very versatile. Thank you!

Chocolate Strawberry Banana Milkshake

Reviewed: Jun. 26, 2007
Excellent! My boyfriend always looks forward to this milkshake! I made modifications though ... (1) Added an entire banana instead of a half (2) used unsweetened cocoa powder (didn't have any chocolate drink mix on hand) (3) halved the sugar (1 teaspoon instead of two) (4) added 1/6 tsp of stevia to sweeten without adding calories. This is not a super sweet milkshake (which I like) and satifies me whenever I am in the mood for chocolate.

BBQ Glazed Homemade Meatballs

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2007
Very good sauce. I actually used pre-made frozen meatballs and threw them in a crockpot with the ingredients for the sauce. I let them cook overnight and brought them into work for a party. I served them with homemade herb and onion rolls. I received many compliments!

Slow Cooker Stuffing

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2007
Excellent. I have made this stuffing for the past 2 years at Thanksgiving and Christmas time. There are never any leftovers. The only modification I make is to add less broth. BTW I make my own pepper and onion bread for use in this recipe which adds extra fabulous flavor!

Acorn Squash with Apple

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2007
My boyfriend and I did not care for this recipe. I really enjoy pumpkin, and since pumpkin is a member of the squash family, I thought I might enjoy a "sweetened" acorn squash dish. Unfortunately, we did not like the flavor it gave the squash.

Potato Soup Mix

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2005
I was surprised ... this is a very good potato soup. The seasonings really make it very tasty. I will be giving these away as gifts this Christmas ... great for coworkers for a good quick lunch!

Friendship Soup Mix in a Jar

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2005
I wanted a healthy, good soup to give out in jars for this Christmas. This recipe had rave reviews, so I tried it before giftgiving. I thought that the soup was mediocre. It was a bit bland, and I will not be giving it away as gifts. Maybe I didn't like it because I am not a bean lover ... although I do like Chili. Thanks for the recipe though.
