Butternut Squash Soup II

I only gave this recipe 4 stars because I did follow other reviewers advice and tweaked it a little. The end result was a 5 star soup. I roasted the squash for 45 min at 400 degrees first. I added some garlic, nutmeg and cinnamon and at the end, some 1% milk to the puree to make it a touch creamier. The dollop of sour cream makes it perfect. Thank you so much for a delicious recipe.

Pecan Breaded Chicken Breasts

My husband and I loved this however, I did modify based on the reviews. I added panko bread crumbs to my pecans, I put pecans in the food processsor and also added granulated garlic. I didn't have real maple syrup so I used pancake syrup and honey and also beat an egg into it to make sure the pecans adhered to the chicken. I browned the chicken on medium heat then finished in the oven at 375 for 25 min. Thanks for the awesome recipe. Little more work than I usually like since i have 2 little ones but will definately make again.

Lemon Pepper Zucchini

Taco Pie

I wasn't crazy about this recipe. I added onions and diced tomatos to the ground beef, after draining it. I still found it to be a little bland. I should have listened to other reviews about putting sour cream on the side because mine looked like it curdled. It was easy enough and my husband enjoyed it but not worth all the calories.

Italian Wedding Soup I

My husband loved this soup! I didn't have onion powder so I used finely chopped onion and I broiled the meatballs before adding to the soup. I also substituted chopped spinach for escarole. This will be added to our usual rotation! Thanks for an easy and delicious recipe!

Mondi's Super Simple Chicken

My husband thought this was "awesome." I added lemon juice to the bottom of the pan and mixed the butter with the basil, garlic powder and salt (I didn't have garlic salt). I used skinless chicken cutlets and cooked them for 25 min and they came out delicious. Thanks for a new recipe to add to our rotation.

Easy Meatloaf

I thought this was terrible. It came out very mushy and I cooked it an extra 45 min. My husband didn't think it was bad but I had to smother my serving in ketchup. Won't be making this again.

Carrot Cake III

I can't give a reciipe 5 stars if I modify it but the tweaked recipe was almost a 5. I lost my mother's recipe and this one was almosst as good. I used 1c sugar, 1c brown sugar, extra tsp vanilla, extra tsp cinnamon and added 1/4 tsp nutmet (all following other reviews). I didn't have enough white flour so I used 2 1/2c flour and 1/2c whole wheat flour. Husband loved it. Thanks for a great carrot cake!

Aunt Teen's Creamy Chocolate Fudge

This was my first time making fudge and I'm keeping this recipe. I made it twice in the last two days. Once for Chrismas gifts and again for the family. The second time I forgot the vanilla and it still turned out delicous. The other thing I love about this recipe is that it was incredibly easy. This one's a keeper!

Pecan Tassies

I found these to be delicious and have added this recipe to my recipe box. The only step I added was to make sure to flour my hands when making the balls so I could press them into the molds without them sticking to me. I also did not have a problem taking them out of the molds at the end. Thank you so much!

Peanut Butter Balls II

These peanut butter balls tasted good but I found them to be a pain to make. I had a hard time coating them with the chocolate. I doubt I'll make them again just for the reason that it was very time consuming. It was worth the try though. Thanks

Chicken Breasts with Balsamic Vinegar and Garlic

Chicken Balsamic

Picnic Pasta Salad

My husband and I really enjoyed this salad. I omitted the mushrooms because I don't like them and I halved the sugar as some of the other reviewers suggested. It was still a little sweet so I may cut it back some more next time. I look forward to making this at the next family get together. Thanks for the great recipe!
