Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

I add vanilla, cinnamon, a little sugar, and sometimes nutmeg to this batter and it still fluffs up quite nicely. Who needs the pre-made powders when they have this! And it tastes better!

I've made these at least 12 times now and they're amazing. I've even used the same recipe, but with strawberries instead... sometimes strawberries AND bananas. I use it every time I have a lot of fruit that won't get eaten before it spoils. Very easy, very flavorful, moist... perfect muffins every time! Thanks so much for sharing! :)

Spanish Rice II

Flavors were great. I, despite all the warnings, had to take the lid off and transfer the rice to a bigger pot so it turned out gummy. I baked it to dry it up a bit and threw some cheddar on top and it was still delicious.

Kiki's Borracho (Drunken) Beans

Everything turned out very well. The beans were flavorful and there was just the right amount of liquid after about 5 hours of total cook time. There wasn't any particular flavor that stood out to me, it all blended very well. Tasted like the beans from back in San Antonio :) People have to remember to SOAK THE BEANS OVERNIGHT!

Sugar Cookie Cutouts

They sure tasted great, but the dough was killer to work with. I made a double batch and ended up making half cut-outs and half "snowballs" haha. I am thinking next time if I make the normal size batch it will be a lot easier to work with.

All American Apple Pie

The topping is amazing! The crust turned out great. I did what others suggested and cooked the apples a bit on the stove with some lemon juice first. This is one I actually printed and laminated and plan to make for holidays! Thanks for sharing!! :D

Chicken Marsala

I used to order chicken marsala out all the time. Now that I know it's so easy to make at home I just don't think I can anymore! This was wonderful and simple. As others suggested I added more mushrooms and some heavy whipping cream to the sauce. Thanks for your recipe, Lisa!
