Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2006
I made this for a party last year and I thought it was so good, but nobody went crazy over it. I am in the process of planning for the party again this year and all my friends have come to me one by one and tell me, " Please make that awesome eggnog again, it was so good!" I have gotten myslef into something, haven't I? It is VERY good!!! Thanks so much for sharing this recipe!

Angel Hair Pasta Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2006
4 1/2 STARS This was very good!!! I made a few changes and my family loved it! I added 1/4 cup of chopped onion, and about 1 cup and a 1/2 of sliced mushrooms, salt and pepper. I also used penne pasta instead of angle hair and it took probably another 2 minutes to boil. The only problem I had was that you didn't mention at which point to add the chicken broth, so I just cooked the carrots and other veggies in it. This was great and is very healthy! Thanks!!!

Super Easy Salmon Cakes

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2006
Good basic recipe, but I made a few changes. I used 3/4 cups cracker crumbs and 1/2 cup italian bread crumbs (a little less than called for). I also sauted the green onion with 1 clove fresh garlic in just the tiniest bit ofolive oil. I also used black pepper instead of lemon. Turned out very good! I will make again!!! Thanks!

Pretty Chicken Marinade

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2006
Very Good!!! I did make a few changes/additions. I used one clove of fresh garlic, minced instead of the powder. I also added 3T. of brown sugar, 1 tsp of grated orange zest and 1 1/2 T. of Makers Mark. The chicken was delicious!

Cowboy Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2006
Excellent! Very soft and chewy and rose to just the right height and consistency. I used chocolate chips instead of the butterscotch, which my kids don't care for. These were gone in one day!!! Thanks!!!

Chocolate Lovers' Favorite Cake

Reviewed: May 9, 2006
I made exactly as instructed and was NOT impressed. I can still taste the "cake mix" grainy flavor. The only problem I had, was that it took 8-10 minutes longer to cook until "set" and it was a little on the dry side...but if I had taken it out any earlier it wasn't cooked all the way thru. A chocolate sheet cake is just as easy (maybe easier) to make with a much better flavor and texture. I won't be making this again.

Cowboy Cookies III

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2006
Very, very good! Just the right consistency...chewy with the choclate chips melting in your mouth. YUM! They didn't spread at all, like many oatmeal cookies. They were just right and a big hit at our house. Thanks for the recipe.

The Whole Jar of Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2006
Excellent cookie! I used another's suggestion and incorporated extra crunchy peanut butter, instead of the peanuts and they had just the right amount in them. I cooked them for 12.5 minutes exactly and got a great cookie, not too soft but not hard. The only thing that was trying was that because the dough is so moist the tines of the fork want to stick badly and not imprint. I had to use just a little flour to help out with that--no prblem. Thanks for the great recipe!

Deep Dish Brownies

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2006
Made them very quick for an unexpected in-law visit, just threw them together and they turned out wonderfully! I addded chopped pecans and half a bag of chocolate chips. I couldn't keep myself or my husband out of them. Thanks for the great and easy recipe!

Easy Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2006
These were very qucik and easy to make with ingredients readily handy in my kitchen. The only modification I made was to use 1 cup white sugar and 1/2 cup brown...simply because I ran out. They still turned out great! My kids and husband wouldn't stay out of them! Thanks!

Aunt Cora's World's Greatest Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2006
I have made these many, many times! I always use real butter and about 1/4 c. more pb, for more peanutty flavor. They are terrific, a winner with everyone from kids to adults...there are never any left overs!!! Thanks for the cookie staple recipe!

Beautiful Salad

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2006
Very good salad! I used pears and dried cranberries with toasted pecans (although I have also used dried cherries and toasted walnuts, too) instead of the oranges and almonds. I also used a locally made cherry balsalmic vinegarette. Very tastey!

Incredibly Delicious Italian Cream Cake

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2005
This cake is moist and decadently rich. It is for those occasions in which you aren't concerned about fat grams or calories...you just want something that thrills your taste buds! This REALLY impresses company and family alike. I have used this for many "wedding" cakes with much success and praise!!!

Melt In Your Mouth Honey Lemon Merry Christmas Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2005
Sorry....this recipe also calls for 1/3 Cup shortening. They are great cookies, but very tricky dough. You don't want it too moist or they stick...to dry and they get tough. These are also easily burnt...if they brown at all, then you've waited too long to get them out of the oven. Just slightly golden in color. Rory
