Campbell's Baked Chicken and Broccoli

Reviewed: Jul. 3, 2008
YUM!! I made this last night for my family and it was a big hit with them. I cut the recipe in half for us 4 but next time I'm going to use the whole can of cream of mushroom soup to make the sauce a little thicker. This recipe is a keeper. Another nice thing about it is that it only takes 30 minutes to bake. It's a quick and easy recipe.

Quick Apple Pie Bread

very yummy bread. I found though that I had to put some of the batter into another pan because it was more than my bread pan would hold. I will for sure be making this again!

Cheesy Potatoes and Ham

Like others have said, this is really good! I made one change, I used shredded cheddar cheese instead of Velveeta cheese.

Zucchini Raisin Cookies

yum! these are good! I didn't have any raisins so didn't add any but next time may add chocolate chips. I'll be adding a cream cheese frosting to them.

Zucchini Bread IV

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2009
this is good. I upped the zucchini to 3 cups and added 1/2 tsp nutmeg. I like that this makes 2 loaves. I didn't add nuts.

Greek Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2009
OH MY! This is so good! I made it for our company and they couldn't stop eating it. It was a big big hit! I added 1 tsp dill weed as one reviewer suggested. Next time I'm going to try throwing in some chicken to make this a main dish. This is such an easy and quick recipe to make. This recipe will be making it into my "favorites" recipes.

Creamy Chicken and Wild Rice

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2009
I was very disappointed in this recipe. It tasted very bland and that was after I had added seasoned salt and pepper. It wasn't a hit with any of us

Easy Sausage, Peppers and Onions with Elbows

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2011
I've made this recipe before but in a skillet so I was excited to see it done in a crock pot...what a time saver! This is a family favorite of ours, though we put the sausage/pepper mixture over angel hair pasta

Mom's Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2010
Took other reviewers advise and made some changes. I did 2 cups white flour, 1 cup wheat flour. 1/2 cup oil, 1/2 cup applesauce. 1 cup white sugar, 1 cup brown sugar. I also reduced the cinnamon to 2.5 tsp and added 1/2 tsp nutmeg. It turned out so moist and yummy!!

Cheeseburger Pasta

Reviewed: May 10, 2010
I found this recipe on a can of Campbell's Cheddar Cheese Soup. That recipe calls for a can of Beef Broth instead of Tomato Soup. Also, look online for a recipe for making your own Cheddar Cheese Soup...cheaper.

Sausage-Potato Casserole

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2009
I thought this would be a hit with my family but it wasn't. there are changes I'd make if I ever made this again. I put this in a regular pan and it worked fine. There was a lot of grease from the cheese and kielbasa. Next time I'd boil the kielbasa to remove most of the grease. I have a hard time cooking sliced potatoes so I chunked mine. I eliminated the dill weed but next time I'd also eliminate the caraway seed too. I added seasoned salt and Lemon Pepper. I liked the idea of not using a cream soup (i.e. Cream of Mushroom) but I'd make a lot of changes too. Next time I would either cut the cooking time in half or else not cover the dish.

Basic Ham and Bean Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2008
I'll be honest, I made this soup because my husband wanted it but it was really good. Like other reviewers I made some changes too. I used a 7 bean mix, did mine in the crockpot (HI 9 hours) minus the ham hock. I decreased the water to 6.5 cups and added 4 bullion cubes, I also pureed 4 cups of the soup half way through the cooking. Next time I will keep the 8 cups of water and not puree half of the soup plus I'll cook it for fewer hours.

The Supreme Shepherd's Pie

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2010
I did some slight changes to this recipe. I cubed the roast beef, then added some leftover mixed veggies and some home canned green beans and then since I didn't have any gravy I mixed 1 can cream of mushroom soup and 1/2 can milk then poured over the meat and veggies. Then I topped with the mashed potatoes. I only rated this 4 stars because some of my family liked this better with ground beef (how I normally make it). This will be a recipe I keep for when I need to use up leftover roast beef.

This is good. I didn't have any pumpkin pie spice so I used cinnamon. I only used a small handful of chocolate chips.

Garden Chicken Stir Fry

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2008
Like others I added spices to this dish...salt, pepper, minced garlic and ginger. Because of all the squash/zucchini it was still kind of bland. I'd suggest seasoning it more heavily. But don't get me wrong, this dish was really good. Next time I'll just make a chicken stir fry and add some squash/zucchini.

Cheese Potato Puff

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2008
these are really good. I did mine slightly different. I used cold mashed potatoes so I had to nuke them to warm them up a bit then I threw the rest of the ingredients into the potatoes and whipped them together. I didn't do the milk, butter and cheese on the stove. very easy to make and very tasty
