Wonderful Banana Cake

Well, I liked this but my family did not. They just didn't care for the sausage much. I cut the recipe in half since one of the reviews said it made a bunch, and was glad I did since I'm the only one who is going to be eating it, apparently. I made with the spinach and added the fennel seed as suggested. Tasty, but probably won't be making again since my family can't appreciate a soup that doesn't come out of a can:(

My Mom's Raised Doughnuts

These doughnuts were delicious. We usually make the canned biscuit kind, but had some extra time on a Saturday and decided to try these. The kids said they tasted heavenly and were pretty impressed. I'll make these again for special occasions.

Blackberry Pie I

I chose this recipe based on the great reviews. I made the pie following the instructions and the end result was a pie that was way, way too tart. Next time I'll add at least another 1/2 cup of sugar.

Classic Bran Muffins

Excellent! I always use the milk/vinegar combo in place of the buttermilk. I have also subbed applesauce in place of the oil.

Roasted Red Pepper Lasagna

This turned out to be really good. I added more salt to the white sauce and put mozarella cheese on top. I don't know that I'll be making too often as it did take a long time to prepare, but everyone enjoyed it.
