Best Ever Pie Crust
have gotten rave reviews everytime I make this crust. sometimes I add a teaspoon of sugar (if a fruit pie)and have added herbs for savory pies. also have done half shortening/half lard for that old fashioned taste (my husband's favorite).

Gramma's Apple Bread Pudding
i have been making this recipe for several years. absolutely love it. saw an emeril show just before i made it, he said to soak the bread in the custard mixture for about 20 minutes before baking which i did. works great, the only change i ever made was doubling the vanilla.....

Gourmet Mushroom Risotto
FIVE STARS! WONDERFUL! THIS RECIPE HAS BECOME MY FALL-BACK BASIC. I CHANGE IT AROUND, ADD A MEAT/SEAFOOD. ALWAYS ADD AT LEAST 3 CLOVES MINCED GARLIC AND HAVE SUBSTUIUTED DIFFERENT ONIONS (WHATEVER I HAVE HANDY) INSTEAD OF THE SHALLOTS. NOT FOR DIET CONSCIOUS, BUT ALWAYS DO THE BUTTER AND CHEESE. THEY MAKE IT CREAMIER AND FLAVOR.
