Chinese Chicken Salad III

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2009
My husband and I both loved it! I added a little more crunch with some oriental salad topping and crunchy noodles, but that was it.......I use this recipe everytime!

Hot Fudge Ice Cream Bar Dessert

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2007
Very easy and perfect for company! I didn't use peanut butter but I did use Hot Fudge and Caramel and toased Almonds. I served it at our Super Bowl party and everyone raved about it! Perfect recipe to have the kids help with!

Chicken Tortilla Soup III

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2006
I doubled the recipe and believe me it made a lot of soup. It was very good. I used half 2% milk and 1/2 of the 1/2 and 1/2. It came out perfect. I did scorch the milk on the bottom of the pan a little so be careful not to bring it to a boil too fast. We enjoyed this soup for days! Pefect for cooler weather. I think if I had used all 1/2 and 1/2 it would have been too thick for my liking especially after adding the cheese to each bowl. Yummy...thanks for sharing this recipe :-)

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2006
The best meatloaf recipe ever! I changed the servings to 16 and make it in a 2.75 qt pyrex dish that goes from the oven right to the fridge for leftovers that you will want to enjoy!

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2005
I assumed that "soft" meant "not crisp", I was wrong. Soft means "cake-like". I prefer a cookie that is chewy and not crisp. These were the softest chocolate chip cookies I've ever had, however they are not what I like in a chocolate chip cookie. They are good but if you like chewy, find another recipe.

Cheesy Ham and Hash Brown Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2005
I made this for my husbands Christmas Party carry-in at work. I doubled the recipe and made an extra dish to serve with dinner. I deleted the ham and added half a can of cream of onion soup. Everyone, including my kids loved it. I overcooked the one I served at home a little. When my husband brought back left-overs from the carry-in I had some of those leftovers. It was better than the one I served at home because it had a creamier consistancy. It was very, very good either way. Thanks for sharing it!

Nanaimo Bars I

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2005
I made these for a school fundraiser. I couldn't find custard powder so I used flan powder instead. Maybe this is why the second layer was not as solid as I had hoped it would be for plating. Even though they turned out a little messy, they were very, very good.
