Favorite Strawberry Rhubarb Pie

This was wonderful! Tasted just like my moms... it was a little runny, but then, so was hers! The next day it was much better. I think next time I will add a few addl TBSP of tapioca and see if it helps. Excellent pie! Thanks for sharing!

French Spring Soup

This was wonderful! I did use chicken broth instead of water, as many suggested, and doubled the onion as I did not have leeks. I used frozen spinach ( all I had) and think the texture would have been much better with fresh, but the taste was still excellent! My son asked for the leftovers for lunch tomorrow.. going to have to make this again soon!

Cauliflower-Cheese Soup

Loved this! One of the best recipes off this site! I used chicken broth instead of water, and next time I think I will add more of the veggies, but overall it was wonderful! Served it with croutons on top. Husband and son both loved it.

The Best Thai Peanut Sauce

I really liked this. Added extra coconut milk to thin it a bit, other than that, made as directed. I served it with fettucini pasta, and it was great. Added some crushed peanuts to the top for a little crunch, and it was great.

I really liked the flavor of this, but it needs to marinate longer, or use thin fillets so the flavor penetrates. Very good flavor tho!

Cajun Chicken Pasta

Loved this. I think next time I may sprinkle the cajun seasoning on as it is cooking as it was a bit strong for my taste. I used less green pepper since my daughter would just pick it out anyhow. After cooking the chicken I cut it in bite size pieces and mixed it all together to spread it out a bit more,But thought it was wonderful and will definitely make it again.

Beer-Boiled Shrimp

This has to be my new favorite recipe. And I am not a beer person! Only changes I made were to toss in 2 bay leaves, a little garlic, and a wedge of lemon...and I was debating whether it would be rude to lick my plate! Used a pound of shrimp for 2 of us- and could have used more... cant wait to try this one again!

Quinoa Tabbouleh

This was awesome! Made 2 servings... and ate them both in one sitting! Need to make more very soon. Like tomorrow! I did not change anything. I used the curley parsley, and did not care for the texture, will try another next time. But one of my favorite recipes on this site!

Asian Orange Chicken

Husband really loved this.. unusual for him, as he is not crazy about 'new' recipes. I may decrease the OJ just a bit next time- seemed to me a bit more 'orangy' than I like. Otherwise was great, and I will definitely make again.

Fiesta Chicken and Black Bean Enchiladas

Used a whole can of enchilada sauce, as suggested by other reviewers, otherwise made a written. Very good. Will add to my rotation. Very easy to toss together, and healthy.

Suki's Spinach and Feta Pasta

Great recipe, very quick to toss together too. I left out the mushrooms ( husband is not a fan..) used thin spaghetti noodles (all I had on hand..) and added a sprinkle of italian seasonings, otherwise made just as written. Will definitely make again.

Elk Chili

I chose this recipe ( versus using my usual chili recipe) in case I had to disguise the fact it had elk in it for my husband. It was great. My son rated it an A- which is really good by his standards. I would have made it a little less spicy for my taste, but the men in my family liked it the way it is. I think it would be a great chili with ground beef as well- will try it when the elk we were given runs out! Thanks for a great recipe.

Sopapilla Cheesecake Pie

This was very good! The only slight changes I made was to add a bit of cinnimon and honey to the cream cheeses mixture, although it is fine without it. I also melted the butter, and poured it on the top rather than trying to dot the softened butter mixture on top, just because it was easier!

Simple Sloppy Joes

I thought these were a bit "sweet" with the called for amount of Brown sugar. I put in about 2 Tbsp of prepared mustard, which cut down the sweetness and they were just right. Since I cut the recipe down for just my husband and I, i used only the tomato sauce, no tomato paste sicne I did not want to waste half a can of each. This made it a bit 'juicier' but it was still great!

Famous No Coffee Pumpkin Latte

My new favorite cold weather drink! Made it as instructed, and wont mess with it. Great just the way it is. Much tastier than hot chocolate, and I would like to think a bit healthier too. Great with whipped cream on top, and a sprinkle of cinammon.

Peasant Bread

This is really great bread! I usually bake once or twice a week, but was in a hurry and did not want to take the time to knead bread today- this was perfect. I made it as 2 rustic loaves, and loved it. It is a nice, flavorful bread, with a nice chewy crust. I will absolutely make this one many times!

Sour Cream Apple Pie Deluxe

This was very good. I did add about an extra cup of apples ( 2 cups just did not look like enough..) and I think I could have even added more. Added almonds to the topping as other posters suggested- very good! WIll make it again

Spaghetti Carbonara II
