Rhubarb Stir Cake

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2010
Followed directions as is and it turned out pretty good. I will probably take the advice of other reviewers of adding more rhubarb and cutting or omitting the nutmeg. With that switch it would be 5 stars with cinnamon instead. Great recipe, thanks for sharing.

Bubble Pizza

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2009
Made this for a fantasy football party and everyone loved it. It was a little doughy for my husband but he is a thin crust pizza type, otherwise went over well. Very easy to make with what ever ingredients you have available. Thanks

Spanish Rice Bake

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2009
This was very easy to make and tasted great. I omitted the brown sugar & chili sauce and replaced it with salsa like others had suggested along with 1/4 cup of taco sauce. Will definitely make this again. Thanks

Chicken Tortilla Soup I

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2008
This soup was very good. I did make minor adjustments like chicken broth for the water and cumin for the oregano like others suggested but other than that I followed the recipe to a T. It was very filling and only 2 WW points per cup.

Tex-Mex Patty Melts

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2008
I was looking for something different for dinner and I noticed this recipe. It sounded very good and was. My husband who is a very picky eater even said they were very good and a nice change of pace. I followed the recipe exactly except for frying the sandwiches in the left over beef grease, I buttered the bread and cooked them like grilled cheese to cut down on calories and they turned out great. Thanks for the posting.

Pie Iron Tacos

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2008
These were awesome. We always have a pie iron meal when camping and have tried many different sandwiches and treats but I have to say after having these, we have a new favorite.

Chicken Pot Pie II

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2008
This was a great recipe. I was looking for one that does not contain a canned cream soup. A little time consuming but totally worth it. I made individual pies and my husband loved them.

Cream of Chicken with Wild Rice Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2008
This soup was great! Awesome flavor and better than most restaurant recipes. I did add some garlic mentioned by other reviews and omitted the mushrooms because my husband does not like them but other than that followed the recipe to a T. Definitely a keeper.

Country Chicken Casserole

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2007
This was very good. I was short on time so I cooked the chicken about half way through before adding to the dish and I also added Mrs.'s Dash Garlic Herb seasoning to the chicken while it cooked. Other than that followed the directions and it turned out great. I only cooked for 45 minutes total (due to time restraints) so maybe this eliminated the mushy hashbrown problem because mine were not. Will definitely make it again. Great comfort food.
