Chocolate Covered Cherry Cookies II

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2007
THE ! Absolutley wonderful. I needed some cookies to put in my husbands cookies and wanted something different then the traditional Oatmeal Raisin or Chocolate Chip. He loves cherries and chocolate so this was a winner. Be sure to be generous with the milk, choc chip and cherry jusice mixture though when you're frosting. I ended up with a good amount left towards the end so I started putting more on the last tray that went in then before and it worked fine. Makes them yummier too. EXCELLENT RECIPE!!!

Curried Chicken and Brown Rice Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2005
I have to admit, I was surprised with this recipe. I found it using the ingredient search as I was very low on groceries and needed something for supper. I would have hever thought of putting tomatoes, rice, raisins, etc... all in the same dish but it was very tasty. Don't be afraid to try it!

Applesauce Barbeque Sauce

Reviewed: Jun. 17, 2005
EXCELLENT!!! I used this as a sauce for meatballs over rice and it was heavenly. I only used 1 c brown sugar instead of 2 because I used sweetend applesauce and it was plenty sweet.. This is a keeper!!!

Chocolate Eclair Dessert

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2005
It wasn't that this dessert was bad, it just didn't do a lot for me. It wasn't something that, when you taste it, your reaction is "oooohhhh, wow". It tasted like a cafeteria dessert. Not gross at all, just lacked that homeade yumminess.

Carrot Raisin Bread or Rolls

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2005
A little unique but VERY GOOD!! I love it. The carrotts and raisins add to the moist texture. A wonderful toast bread. I wonder if I couldn't have squeezed three loaves out of the dough as was a lot of dough there. Made 2 very nice ones. Thanks for the recipe!

Super Sloppy Joes

Reviewed: May 17, 2005
EXCELLENT!!! The best sloppy joes I've ever made or eaten. This is now OUR recipe when it comes time to make these. I doubled the saucy ingredients because it seemed a little too meaty and not even saucy. Also did BBQ sauce instead of steak sauce but I'm sure steak sauce would be great too. I think letting it simmer like the recipe says is the key. WONDERFUL!!!!!!

Pumpkin Roll III

Reviewed: May 17, 2005
Excellent!!! A wonderful dessert to make ahead for the freezer. I used half brown sugar and half white instead of all white just for something different. Took it to a potluck and received LOTS of great comments.
