Cinnamon Ice Cream

Very good! I tripled the recipe for my 6 quart ice cream maker. Then when it's time to put it in the freezer I scoop it into about 15 of those little Gladware containers which makes a perfect single serving of ice cream. Nice creamy texture and would be great with pie!

Chocolate Velvet Ice Cream

The only reason I gave this four stars instead of five is because this is much more like chocolate mousse than ice cream. It is delicious and we added mini marshmallows and nuts. I also added more cocoa powder which I'm glad I did. O.k. I take back the four stars and gave it five because after leaving it overnight in the freezer, this was some of the best ice cream I've ever had! Soooooooooo good!

Slow-Cooker Barbecue Ribs

Yes! This is how to make good ribs! They fell right off the bones! I just used a bottle of my own favorite bbq sauce. After you take them out of the slow cooker you must put them on a cookies sheet, pour some more bbq sauce on them, and bake them for 15 mins at about 400. This will make the sauce stick and carmalize a little. SO GOOD!

Snow Day French Toast

This turned out super sweet! I don't know if it's great idea to dip the bread in sugar and then griddle it. The sugar melts and gets everything sticky and burns before the toast is cooked all the way. And after you put it on a plate it sticks to the plate and you have to literally scrape it off. Not for me.

Bread Pudding II

This is pretty simple and good bread pudding. I love the buttery taste due to drizzling it on the bread before baking. To me that's what really makes this recipe good! The only thing I am not too thrilled about is that it is a custardy bread pudding. I like mine to be a little more firm but that's strictly personal preference. I used raisin bagels which were pretty yummy.

Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff I

. So my review is based on the recipe as written. It is pretty decent. I didn't really miss the sour cream like I thought I would. I did have to add salt to taste while I was eating it. Next time I will add more onions and some mushrooms. For a quick and basic recipe, this was all right.

Gooey Butter Cake I

I don't know what the gooey part is referring to because the bottom portion of mine turned out firm and the upper layer just slightly less firm. I thought this was a delicious cake! LOVED IT!

Chicken Enchiladas II

This was just o.k. I practically tripled the ingredients because there just isn't enough sauce. It was lacking in flavor. It needed a lot more onions and spices because it tasted like tortillas with chicken rolled in them and then topped with soup. So....I think it's a good base but they could be a lot better.

Mini Meatloaves

Honey Ribs

The thing is...yes these ribs were very tender and did flake apart. But really, anything you slow cook in a crockpot is going to do the same thing. So I hate to rate this recipe on that alone. So I will rate it more on flavor which I think it really lacked. They had this sweet but bland taste and the sauce was the consistancy of water. My mom and I took them out, poured a bottle of the honey bbq sauce over them and baked them in the oven for about 10 minutes. Then and only then were they really good. We also used the country style pork ribs and they still turned out really good. But again, that is only because we baked them with bbq sauce after they had been slow cooked.

Cinnamon Cream Syrup

This is a very good syrup. It will thicken up as it cools. My only complaint, and it's strictly a personal preference, is that it is not sweet enough for me. It is very creamy and delicious though.

Bananas in Caramel Sauce

I am just dizzy with happiness! This is just delicious! I didn't use super fine sugar and it worked great! It will seperate from the butter and won't come together until you start to slowly add the cream. (Stir it constantly!) It took me about 10 minutes until the sugar became smooth and brown. I don't think it's that long of a time! Soooooo wonderful on vanilla ice cream! Not grainy at all. And it's sweet but hello...we're talking caramel sauce here.

One slice of this pie makes up for half of the calories I eat in an entire day and as for fat content, I usually eat less than half of the fat grams in a day. So obviously this pie is tastes good!

Kentucky Banana Pudding

I loved this simply because it tastes like homeade pudding. It is much better than the recipes where you have to add instant pudding mix! I think next time I will put the sliced bananas on top of the wafers and then add the pudding to keep from having blackening bananas on top.
