My husband and I liked this. Kids weren't too crazy about it for some reason. Almost could eat this for breakfast.

Almond Chicken Casserole II

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2007
I followed some of the other suggestions and added carrots, slightly less mayo and 1/2 cup of sour crean as well as milk. I also substituted Honey Bunches of Oats with almonds instead of cornflake crumbs. Although I liked the taste, family wasn't too crazy about this one.

Souvlaki

This is so great and easy. I'm so lazy, I don't even bother to skewer it. Instead I have a grill pan that I throw everything into.

Pumpkin Casserole

I thought this sounded a little strange but it was so easy and turned out great. Huge hit with everyone. I cannot wait to make it for Thanksgiving. It is very sweet and could be used as a dessert as well.

Cabbage Roll Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2007
I really like this one! I love stuffed cabbage, but hate going through the trouble to make it. This is a great time-saver. I made some changes as others suggested by adding garlic to the beef and seasoning with parsley, Worcesteshire, and brown sugar. I also added about 1/2 can of sauerkraut, drained. Definitely will make this again.

Good. The meat was very tender. I did use the flour, egg wash, seasoned bread crumbs method. May try baking it next time as others suggested.

This was pretty good. Makes good leftovers. I omitted the mushrooms and pimentos. Tasted a bit like a 'Hamburger Helper' dish.

Chicken Katsu

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2007
This was excellent! My family loved it. I could not find the sauce so I made my own dipping sauce. (1 jar of apricot preserves, 2 Tbsp tamari (soy sauce), 1 Tbsp ketchup, 6 slices of unpeeled fresh ginger -- heat together in saucepan until bubbly.)

Good and easy. Tasted a lot like tamales. I substituted taco seasoning for the chili powder, shredded cheddar for the Colby, and 1/2 Miracle whip, 1/2 sour cream. Also added garlic and onion.
