Too Much Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2014
I made this in a 9x9 square pan.. Mistake! I don't have a bundt cake pan but next time I will use a bigger pan. Took about 2 hours to cook all the way through because of my small pan and then the edges were kind crispy :) super delicious though

Slow Cooker, Easy Baked Potato Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2014
This turned out really delicious! I didn't use ranch dressing mix though, I used a little more chicken bouillon (3 tbsp) and mixed a tbsp of corn starch to a little cold water and put that in. I used regular salt instead of season salt and added cumin and a little chili pepper for some bite. Instead of parsley I used Italian seasoning. Also I used 5 cups water instead of 3. And 8 red potatoes instead of 10, mozzarella instead of cheddar. Really yummy

Stuffed Peppers My Way

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2014
i made this last night and it was very good! it's really simple and quick, and is a great alternative to eating greasy ground beef (which i have a personal grudge against). i used 3 really huge green peppers, so i doubled the rice, water, and spices. i think i more than tripled the amount of feta though :) because cheese

Apple Hand Pies

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2014
i just tried this recipe tonight and these are so delicious! even though mine turned out ugly, they are still super yummy :) i used a package of Jiffy pie crust instead of prepared pie dough, because that's what i had, and cut my apples too big for their pockets i think. i made 8 instead of 4 since i don't have a big enough work space to roll out dough on.

Easy Chicken Tetrazzini

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2014
this tasted good, there was nothing wrong with the taste. it was just kind of sloppy, like someone forgot to buy tomato for a spaghetti and just dumped chicken flavor on it and added actual chicken as an afterthought. and it's very soupy but not easy enough to eat with a spoon.

Easy Broccoli Quiche

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2014
I made this tonight. Turned out delicious! I didn't have a 9" round pan so I used a brownie pan, which did screw up my pie crust usage. I "made" my own pie crust using a box of Jiffy pie crust mix, which will make enough dough for 2 crusts. After some surgery I ended up with bits and pieces left so I threw them in slices on top. Definitely use fresh broccoli and don't worry about chopping or mincing (onion, garlic) perfectly. Everything is hidden in the quiche anyway. Mine came out fluffy and flavorful, despite there not being that many spices in recipe (only salt and pepper). This was so easy and yummy I will have to make it again

Easy Chicken Enchiladas

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2014
i made this using refried beans, chicken marinated in orange juice/cumin/salt/pepper/garlic, and blended 2 jalapenos, 4 roma tomatoes, and one huge green pepper in a blender to make a mild salsa instead of using enchilada sauce. turned out yummy but because of the gooey filling (cream cheese, beans, etc) it felt more like eating a casserole. i grew up eating enchiladas that made me feel like a kamikaze from the heat! but it was nice to tone it down and Americanize one time

Pasta Fagioli

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2014
It's really tasty. Next time I will leave out the red pepper flakes though :) too spicy. Also next time I will dilute with water or more chicken stock, since mine ended up being more of a pasta dish than a soup after the liquid mysteriously vanished.. But still I won't take away any stars because it was delicious!

Slow Cooker Beef Pot Roast

Reviewed: Sep. 1, 2014
I made this today and it was delicious. The delicious smell tempted us all day while it cooked. I cut up my meat (a nice slab of chuck roast) and seasoned it with all the seasonings in the recipe plus powdered onion and garlic since I hate the texture of the "real" things in my mouth. It was so good that I forgot to take a picture! So mine is of the tiny bit of leftovers in a plastic container :) so yummy!

Refreshing Summer Cucumber Lemonade

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2014
i just made this! it is really refreshing. the cucumber slices add a sweet and cool flavor. i had to double the ingredients because i have a big pitcher :) and i used sparkling water with lime instead of soda. one cool thing i noticed while mixing, if you add sugar to the finished product (some people like it sweet!) it fizzles like a science experiment

Blueberry Strata

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2014
this is really easy and delicious. it is like french toast/cheesecake. super simple and yummy! my attempt came out less brown than i thought it would, and the amount of syrup (the glaze for the top) was too much. i poured it over top and realized it looked kind of like a soup. but it was still a hit, and we all enjoy it at my house

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2014
I made this for dinner tonight! It is so yummy! A few changes for preference and necessity- I didn't have beer so I didn't use any. Still delicious. Also, I didn't have corn so I used green beans, which worked fine. Instead of the canned diced tomatoes I just got 4 Roma tomatoes and chopped them up. Instead of an onion I used onion powder (don't like the texture of onions) as well as garlic and pepper. Super yummy!

my husband and i loved this! i did add more vegetables than just mushrooms- corn, green beans, peas, and carrots.. and i also added chicken :) cuz my husband likes meat but i really can do without it, so we kind of compromised. it turned out delicious! also, my lasagna came out gigantic. definitely more than 12 servings in mine

This recipe was super easy and super delicious! I didn't have cream of chicken soup though so I used cream of mushroom. Also, one container of biscuits was enough for me :) so yummy!
