Orange Cake

The house smells incredible baking this. You could cut the glaze part in half - it makes way too much. I dumped most of it.

Cheesecake Topped Brownies

Easy and AWESOME! I did as another poster suggested and for the frosting I used chocolate chips and a stick of butter (duh, how can you go wrong?!) I'm making 4 batches this weekend for my husband's work.

Crunchy Chicken Casserole

Very tasty! I didn't have any sour cream - so I just omitted it and hoped for the best.. it was excellent. All four kids liked it! - they asked for seconds.

Pizza Casserole

This was really good! My only suggestion is to cut the pepperoni into quarters - I think the flavor would be spread out a little better. This recipe is going on my rotation list! Thank You

Peanutty Caramel Bars

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2007
I've been making these for a few years now. They are so easy to make. What takes the longest is unwrapping the caramels! :) This is a great recipe to make with your kids. It's a great mix of sweet and salty. If you don't have salted nuts use some (slightly) crushed pretzels.

Slow Cooker Manly Stew

So easy and extremely tasty! This will now be on my meal rotation. The crock pot was on for 8 hours total on low. A little less then 2 hours before it was done I added diced potatoes and carrots.

Best Lemonade Ever

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2007
I used "real lemon juice" from a bottle. This was good lemonade - no more can stuff for me. Maybe next time I'll spend the time and squeeze real lemons.. wonderful!

Butter Cream Frosting II

Very easy to make... My 7 year old made it... I just helped. It took less then 2 minutes from start to finish. I read the other reviews first and cut the sugar back. I half the recipe. This was used for cupcakes.

Chicken Tortilla Soup V

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2007
Very flavorful. I added a pint of half and half.. this makes it a little more creamy. If you add the half and half omit one can of chicken broth. (this makes it less salty too)

Tasty.. and easy! Like another poster suggested.. use a smaller pan. Made according to directions the lasagna is too skinny.

Blueberry Sour Cream Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2007
I made this almost to the T of the recipe. The only thing I changed was the fruit. I had frozen hand picked strawberries in my freezer from last summer. Everyone raved over this recipe at my bible study - trust me - it's a tough crowd of wonderful cooks. My only complaint is that maybe it was too moist. Yummy beyond belief (it should be with all that sugar and butter!!!) but messy. I will make this again! Thanks for the recipe!

Italian Meatball Sandwich Casserole

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2006
very good.. expensive to make.. I followed the suggestions of the others here. I took this for an Italian themed party.. it was all gone.. people raved over this! Very rich in taste. This is not something you would probably want to cook for an everyday occasion - it did take a long time to cook - b/c of the meatballs. I will make it again next year.
