Clark's Quiche

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2009
Excellent, excellent quiche. I usually make a simple bacon and cheese quiche, but this is my new standby. I will pre-bake the crust a little next time. Thanks Clark!

The Best Meatballs You'll Ever Have

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2009
First attempt at meatballs - easy and delicious. Enjoyed them with cavatappi pasta and pasta sauce baked with a generous layer of mozzarella cheese.

Pepperoncini Beef

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2007
This is AWESOME!! Here's what I did: I put one can beef broth and one jar pepperoncinis for 1.75 lbs meat, and cooked it for 9-10 hours on low. When it was dinner time, I piled this on toasted French bread with provolone cheese, and melted the cheese in the broiler. Just fantastic!!

Glazed Meatloaf I

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2007
I had never eaten or made meatloaf before - and this was absolutely delicious. I doubled the sauce, and heated up the extra in a saucepan to pour over the sliced meatloaf. I will probably triple the sauce next time. I also used 1 cup breadcrumbs instead of the bread. This is definitely one of my favorite recipes. Try it!

American Lasagna

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2007
This was my first time making lasagna, and this is a great starter recipe. I did add an extra 14 oz can of diced tomatoes, as my boyfriend likes his lasagna on the "saucy" side. I also doubled the garlic and used a huge onion. Next time I will add even more garlic and experiment a little with different spices to get exactly the flavor I am looking for. All in all, very easy and and an easy recipe to modify to suit your tastes.

French Toast Bake

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2007
I made this dish this morning, following the recipe exactly. The flavor was ok, and the texture was barely palatable. I baked it for 20 minutes longer than the recipe suggested, used less of the egg mixture with the same amount of bread, and it was very, very soggy. On the plus side, it did look beautiful when I pulled it out of the oven. I love pecans and blueberries, but this recipe just didn't turn out for me.

Garlic Mashed Red Potatoes

These potatoes are delicious, elegant, and easy! I didn't measure any of the ingredients, and they came out wonderfully. I may try addition some chopped chives next time.

This dish has wonderful flavor, but the texture is a little unappealing, especially when reheated.

Shrimp Scampi Cheesecake Appetizer

Reviewed: Jun. 12, 2007
This is the perfect recipe for special occasions. I used regular gouda instead of smoked, and halved the recipe and still had tons left over. Next time I will probably quarter the recipe.

Great Garlic Bread

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2006
Great, easy garlic bread. I used softened butter instead of melted, added the garlic and seasonings, and spread it onto the bread. Wonderful!

Strawberry Spinach Salad III

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2005
I really liked this salad, but used more toasted sesame seeds than called for in the recipe, and also threw some sugar in with the dressing, as I thought it was a bit bitter.

Berry Lemon Mousse Parfait

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2005
Awesome light summery dessert.. Generally, I don't eat desserts unless they have mass amounts of chocolate, but I made this recipe for my boyfriend, and ended up loving it almost as much as he did! Also very quick and easy to make.

Chicken, Garlic, and Sundried Tomato Pasta

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2005
This recipe was good, but I thought there was not nearly enough sauce. I will make it again, but double the sauce ingredients.
