Nanna's Banana Bread

Reviewed: May 19, 2009
Delish! I substituted most of the oil for fat free plain yogurt, and the bread still came out perfect.

Scalloped Potatoes and Onions

Delicious! I added layers of shredded mozzarella and parmesan cheese to mine, and could not stop eating it! Will definitely use this recipe in the future.

Bread Machine Pizza Dough

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2009
This is the best pizza dough recipe I've tried so far. I used it for a white pizza (roasted garlic and olive oil instead of sauce) with tomato slices and fresh basil. I'll be adding some spices to the dough next time for a little more taste.

Sweet Dinner Rolls

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2009
This is by far my favorite dinner roll recipe I've ever made. And, it's really easy. For whole wheat rolls, just sub in some wheat flour (maybe leave 1 cup of white flour, then the rest wheat), and they still come out nice and fluffy.

Lemon Poppy Seed Muffins I

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2009
Love these muffins! When I plan on traveling with these muffins, or storing them in a ziploc bag, I don't do the glaze part. They are still really yummy and moist.

Marinated Tuna Steak

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2009
I've used this marinade several times, and love it. The tuna steaks even come out well with pan searing (although I wouldn't cook them quite so long).

Peanut Butter Brownies I

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2009
Loved them! Modifications: 1. crunchy peanutbutter instead of smooth. 2. omit peanuts. 3. add 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips. They were nice a gooey and yummy!

Crab Salad III

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2008
Perfect! Also very flexible depending on the veggies you have in your fridge. I've substituted red peppers instead of radishes, and also added carrots.

Mexican Rice III

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2008
I liked the flexibility of this recipe. Instead of just chicken broth, I put chicken broth, stewed tomatoes, and garlic in a blender, then added to rice and veggies. It was awesome! Next time I will try adding more veggies (like corn), and make it spicier. Overall...very good!

Perfect Berry Shortcakes

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2008
This is the best shortcake I've ever made! I've gotten lots of compliments on them. I don't even bother with the egg whites, but I do sprinkle cinnamon and sugar on before baking. This is now my staple shortcake recipe!

Grilled Asparagus with Roasted Garlic Toast and Balsamic Vinaigrette

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2008
This definitely isn't something you can just throw together for a quick dinner (next time I'll roast the garlic and prepare the marinade ahead of time). But, it was AMAZING! I'll definitely be making it again.

Apple Pecan Cobbler

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2008
Excellent recipe! I added vanilla as suggested by others. The only thing I'll change next time: instead of putting 1 layer of each, I'll do 2 layers (with same amount of ingredients). So it'll look like: apples|sugar crumbs|batter|apples|sugar crumbs|batter

Excellent muffins! I've gotten tons of compliments on these. I add some vanilla as suggested. Also, add some extra blueberries, and using frozen ones works too.

This is the BEST spin & art dip I've ever had! And, since it doesn't contain any butter, it's healthier than most.

Orange Beef-Style Tofu Stir-Fry

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2008
The sauce for this recipe is AWESOME! However, using just plain corn starch to coat the tofu is not very good. I would highly recommend using tempura batter. You can buy it at any asian market, and it comes in powder form (just add water).

Lemon Yogurt Pound Cake with Lemon Glaze

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2005
This cake is very very delicious. The yoghurt makes it moist, while the glaze gives it a perfect tart/sweet flavor. I used 1 stick of butter and 1/2 cup crisco instead of 1 cup crisco. I'll definitely be making this cake again!
