Happy Shrimp

Reviewed: May 25, 2011
This is fabulous. I follow the recipe almost exactly. I have been known to sub cherry tomatoes and add a little tabasco, but basically the recipe is perfect!

Spicy Turkey Burgers

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2009
This burger is AMAZING. I only had a pound of turkey, but didn't decrease the spices very much. I used a little less liquid (soy & worcestershire) and a little less of the paprika. I also didn't have any green chiles, so I used some pickled jalapeños I had in the fridge. Topped with provolone and spicy may. Perfect. Can't wait to make them again!

Thai Spiced Barbecue Shrimp

Fantastic sauce. Not only have we used this on shrimp, it make to-die-for baby back ribs. I triple the sauce; marinate them overnight, reserving some sauce for basting. Incredible.

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2009
We loved this recipe! I used 4 breasts, thawed, with Sweet Baby Ray's hot BBQ sauce. We got 3 full meals for 2 and a lunch. The first meal I served on buns; second meal I put it on a Boboli pizza crust with mozzarella and bacon; finally I put it on baked potatoes as others had suggested. All were hits with my husband. I'll being making this one again and again.

Sweet and Spicy Green Beans

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2008
We absolutely loved this. I even made them twice in about 6 days. These rival any Chinese restaurant that serves spicy green beans. My husband is so happy I found this recipe. I didn't change a thing - which is rare for me.

Asian Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2008
This is a great place to start. I'm sure it's great as-is, but I tried to make it a little healthier by following the advice of others and it turned out really well. My husband loved it. Changes: used EVOO for oil and reduced to 1/4 c; used rice vinegar; used Splenda and reduced to 3 tbs. Was still too sweet so I added a little fresh ginger and some chili garlic sauce for kick; used low-sodium soy sauce. Added shredded carrots, sliced snow peas and a handful of chopped cilantro to the slaw mix; tossed the crunchies with a little sesame & chili oils and baked for a few minutes. Also only tossed enough for dinner and stored the 3 components separately to avoid sogginess.

California Smoothie

I love this. The first time I made it, I added blueberries because I had them and they needed to be used right away. The whole combo of flavors was wonderful. This will be a staple at my house!

Stuffed Pork Chops III

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2008
This recipe is great. My only changes were: used shallots instead of onions (this is good if you don't want to cook the onions); added about 1/4 cup of parmesan cheese to the stuffing; used less sugar (only a small pinch). Wonderful! I've made this several times and my husband loves it.

Spicy Thai Vegetable Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2005
This recipe is delicious and very spicy. The only trouble is, unless you buy pre-chopped vegetables and ginger, the prep time is more like 45 minutes. It's well worth the effort. We added chicken that had been sauteed in Thai garlic sauce and will probably double the rice next time.

BBQ Chicken Pizza I

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2005
FABULOUS. I used a honey roasted garlic sauce, so reduced the honey and brown sugar just a hair. Gouda is the perfect flavor, but added about 1/4 cup (maybe little less) mozarella because I like lots of cheese. The onions carmelized beautifully and the second time I cooked this I even added a few more than called for.
