A Scotsman's Shepherd Pie

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2014
This was delicious. Even better the next day when the flavors develop. Everyone including my neighbors asked for the recipe and cleaned their plates. I only added more veggies as suggested...otherwise the recipe is perfect as is. Thank you so much for sharing!!!!!

My husband and kids loved this. I however needed a much creamier consistency. I will make this the next time with Velveeta Cheese and put it in the oven with bread crumbs on top. However very good recipe and thank you for sharing it.

Stuffed Pepper Soup I

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2014
Made this last night. All I added was a diced onion and less rice. So good. My husband took a big bowl to work for lunch today and ate 2 bowls last night. Very cheap to make as well. Makes a lot. Thanks for the recipe.

Spanish Rice II

I just made this recipe and boy is it good. I did add 1/2 cayenne and cumin for some added kick and a small can of tomato sauce. So very good the way it is. I just like kick and saucey rice. LOL Enjoy this one folks. It really is great.

Quick Quiche

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2014
I have had this recipe for years. A couple tips. Put anything you like in it. After I have my "toppings" chopped up, put them in a ziplock bag and add a 1/2 cup of SELF RISING flour and shake to coat the "toppings". Next mix all you wet ingredients (eggs, butter, milk) and add them to dry ingredients. Salt and Pepper to taste. Spray the bottom of pan with Pam and add the mixture. Bake at 400 for 45 minutes.

Amish Potato Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 6, 2014
I have made this twice now for different parties. Both times all of it was eaten. That says a lot when it is gone quickly. The only change is I used less sugar. This takes longer to make than traditional potato salad but it is so worth the extra time and steps.

Aw-some Cole Slaw

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2014
This is a great recipe for a "KFC" type slaw. I am asked to take this to every event we go to in the summer. The smaller you cut your veggies the better it taste. Thank you for the recipe.

Italian Dressing Mix

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2014
So good and just like the Good Seasons packets that you can buy. I use this to make dressing but also it is great to marinate meat and as a rub. Great to add in soups too. Make a big batch and give in mason jars as a nice homemade gift.

Southern Apple Tuna Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2014
I have made this recipe many times since I found it on here. It is sooooo good. It does need more mayo to be added to it. I just add more mayo until it is the consistency I like. I also add 2 ribs of celery for some added crunch. This is completely worth a try if you are looking for a nice twist on plain old tuna salad.
