Mushroom Olive Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2010
Came across this recipe while looking for dishes to make for my diabetic brother's visit. It is very good! I quadrupled the recipe because alot of us would be eating it, and it was a hit! Definitely gets better if it's allowed to sit overnight in the fridge.

Uncooked Banana Pudding

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2003
Absolutely delicious! Ate some the first day and thought it might be a little too sweet, but apparently all it needed was a night in the fridge for the ingredients to "marry". Smooth, creamy, just wonderful! Thanks for a great recipe.

Classic Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2003
Really delicious! I changed a few basic things that didn't take away from how good this was. Used shredded sharp cheddar instead of sliced, and layered it all in a deep-dish 9x11 casserole, which worked out perfectly. Baked for 30 minutes uncovered, stirred it all, and then just another 15 minutes with foil over it, and it was perfect! Oh, also used two cans of evaporated milk for that extra richness. My husband has already requested I make this at least once a week! Thanks for a great idea.

Easy Apple Crisp

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2003
I made this for a family get-together and everyone said they really liked it. I, however, thought it was just a touch too sweet, possibly because I used apple pie filling. The next time I make it, and I will, I will definitely cut back on the sugar and add a little more cinnamon to strengthen the apple taste.

Salmon Patties I

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2003
I've never liked salmon, canned or fresh, but thought I'd try the salmon that you can now buy in the pouch with this recipe (of course, I had to use two pouches). I added 1/2 tsp dill seed to the recipe and did NOT have to add any liquid. I just kept my hands wet while making the patties. They held together and tasted wonderful! At last, a salmon recipe I can live with. I will definitely make these again. Thanks Sue!

Cinnamon Bread I

Reviewed: May 25, 2003
A wonderful recipe! I tried it for the first time this morning. It wasn't hard to prepare, I followed the recipe exactly, and it came out beautifully. My husband, who normally doesn't like this type of bread, downed two thick slices with butter before I knew what happened. Will definitely make this one again.
