Awesome! Added a little pepper, salt and a little bit of sugar! Was perfect. Thanks!

Tuna Patty Sandwiches

Omitted the mustard. Instead used seasoned bread crumbs (cajun seasoned) and some wheat germ. Also added a quarter of an onion. They fell apart a little bit, but held together well enough. Served with a tartar sauce recipe (Tartar Sauce IV) from here on top. Yummy!

Mmm... so good. Made exactly minus the nuts. So good, so fattening.

Broccoli and Cauliflower Casserole

Awesome. Used grated old cheddar and omitted onions, because I didn't have any left. Served with Tilapia.

Lemon Broccoli Pasta

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2007
I screwed up and just cooked the pasta and broccoli in water, so I mixed up a little boullion and water and lemon/garlic powder and pepper, and poured that into the pasta, putting it on low a few minutes so some evaoprated... and then added the sour cream. Still tastes really good, I can only imagine the flavour would be better if I hadn't messed up. :) Definately a keeper!

Banana Custard Scrunch

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2006
Very, very good. I used instant oats and they turned into nice crunchy granola! Next time I'll use even more plain yogurt - more tangy, less sweet. Easy, quick and healthy dessert!

Frosted Maple Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2006
Sooo good. Used margarine instead of butter, as thats what I had... put a little extra baking soda, and maybe 1/4 cup more flour, as people said they spread too much? Ended up with perfect cookies that spread just enough, but held a good shape. As for the icing... I didn't have confectioners sugar, so I put in 1/2 a cup or so of sugar with a little yogurt and marg... blended it up with some maple extract and drizzled that over the cookies. Dried up more like a glaze than icing... but tasted wonderful. The cookies themselves are awesome... totally worth making again!

Tortilla Pizzas

Ok. The mayo added was a little weird to me... Just wasn't quite right.

Fried Rice II

Ok. Nothing special... very plain, not really like what I've gotten from Chinese places at all. Edible, but I wouldn't make it again.

Cheese Rosti

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2006
Very good... but I used cheddar cheese to make it more like the Rosti at the Royal Winter Fair. :) Takes quite a while to make... way more than 5 minutes to brown the first side... more like 10. Worth the effort, but needs extras to be worth a 5... onions.. bacon?

Cookie Dough for Ice Cream (Eggless)

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2006
Perfect for when you want to eat some cookie dough. Halved the recipe because it was just to eat :P 4 stars because - too sweet, I used a little less sugar the second time, and used more brown and less white sugar, because I prefer brown sugar. Also added chocolate chips and raisins.

Strawberry Cheesecake Quesadillas

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2006
This recipe is very simple and not at all messy like previous reviewers suggested... if you do it right. DO NOT spread to the corners of the tortilla. Only spread the jam/cream cheese to about a full inch before the edges. I cook mine in my quesadilla maker, and as long as I do this and only cook them for 5 minutes, I never have a mess. A great snack. Doesnt really need the extra sugar, IMO, better without. :) Probably best to let cool a minute or two before cutting up/eating, too. Hot jam will burn your tounge!

MMMMM... Brownies

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2006
These brownies are amazing... I was craving brownies and I made these. Followed the recipe except I used chocolate chunks rather than chips and added a few tablespoons of fat free vanilla yogurt, since it seemed a little dry... and margerine instead of butter, since I don't but butter. 24 hours later and I've eaten half the pan... by myself. Best brownies I've ever had.

Cheesecake Bars

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2006
I used a little more cream cheese - there was about 9 ounces in the tub I had, omitted the nuts and used margarine... AMAZING. It's like little cheesecakes! Did add cinnamon to crust, like suggested. I will be making these again.

Amazing Italian Lemon Butter Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2006
Soooo good. I didn't have butter or cream, so I used margerine instead. Instead of the veggies listed I used broccoli and spinach. Still turned out to be amazing! Tossed in with some parmesean cheese. Loved it. I was afraid after tasting sauce it would be too lemony, but it was just right! Oh, also used bottled lemon juice instead of fresh.

Cottage Cheese Perogies

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2006
Like previous reviewer mentioned, they fall apart while cooking. I found that if you managed to close them without any leaking towards the edges (which was difficult) they stayed shut while cooking. Tasted great though, a good alternative to regular poatoe perogies. Ate them once with butter and cheese, the other time with tomato sauce.

Alternative Baked Salmon

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2006
I loved this, as did the roommate I fed it to. He raved about how amazing it was. Used mustard, rather than powder, and just plain breadcrumbs with some seasonings added, but other than that stuck to the recipe. Awesome. Doesn't overwhelm the flavor of the salmon... it went very well with rice and veggies. Wouldn't change anything.

Tasty Tuna Pasta

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2006
Did this recipe exactly as directed, except I used sundried tomato alfredo sauce. Turned out really well, and was even good the next day for lunch. Good way to use up some leftover ingredients.

Inside-Out Manicotti

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2006
Used whole wheat pasta and powdered garlic and canned spagetti sauce - half sundried tomato alfredo and half 4 cheese. Also added a little milk, lemon juice and some feta cheese to the cheese. Chopped up some spinach and cooked it with the onions, too. Very yummy, I had seconds, and will make this again for sure.

Corned Beef Noodle Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2005
I just used this recipe as more of a guide. Used cream of celery soup, a package of no-name mac and cheese(plus some whole wheat bowties as it didn't seem like quite enough) pasta. I used the KD cheese instead of velveeta, which I have never heard of. Like others suggested, I used only 1/2 cup of breadcrumbs. It turned out really yummy. Reminds me of a cross between tuna casserole and corned beef hash. Mmm.. Good left alone, or with some ketchup and pepper on it. Just as good leftover. Will totally make this again if I ever find myself with only with a can of soup, some KD and a can of corned beef... :)
