Denise's Peanut Chicken

My picky-eater husband even loved it! I did follow the advice of other reviewers & used 3 tbl. peanut butter with just a small amount of chopped peanuts for a garnish. I replaced the fresh cilantro with 1 tbl. of Gourmet Garden (fresh in a tube) cilantro (because it's what I had on hand) and added 1/2 tsp. of lemongrass by the same company plus the juice of 1/2 a small lime, which broke up the oiliness of the peanut butter just perfectly. This one's definitely a keeper!

Pork Chops a la Slow Cooker

The chops were tough & the flavor was just plain bad, as if the slow cooking enhanced the taste of the artificial ingredients in the soup. Definitely not worth even modifying. Not all oldies are goodies.

Tommy's Ham Casserole

Very quick, easy & hearty using modifications suggested by others: 4 cups cooked macaroni (8 oz pre-cooked weight of sea shell pasta), a whole soup can of milk & 2 cups of shredded cheese. My picky eater husband loved it! Thanks Tommy.

Carrot and Ginger Soup

I am addicted to this soup! It is wonderful. I use 1/3 cup half & half instead of the heavy cream, per a suggestion in the reviews, and also use organic chicken stock instead of the water. Easy to make & delicious!
