Meatloaf With A Bite

This is really a wonderful meal. My fiance thought it was the best meatloaf ever. I will make this on a more regular basis. It couldn't be any easier to make either.

Cara's Creamy Stuffed Shells

Excellent. Insanely good the next day. I also tried the suggestion about not cooking the shells, but I found them too hard when served up, although they had softened considerably when re-heated the next day. Next time, I will cook them before stuffing. I agree that there is way too much stuffing vs sauce ratio. I took the advice, used 1 lb of beef, along with 3 hot italian sausages, and still had plenty left over after stuffing the shells. Added the left over stuffing in with 4 cups of the sauce to cover the shells. Sprinkled mozza on top and baked. This will become a family favourite.

Excellent. Did not change the recipe at all. It was so tasty. The black colour did alarm me when I went to turn them, as they almost looked burned, but they were perfect.

Jenn's Out Of This World Spaghetti and Meatballs

As others suggested, I reduced the sugar by half and increased the water by at least one cup. The sauce was very tasty. I used 1/2 and 1/2 beef and pork for the meatballs. I will make this again for sure.

Black Bean and Salsa Soup

Fabulous! It is a keeper and will be appearing on my table on a monthly basis. As other reviewers suggested, I saved one cup of beans to add whole, I added 3 teaspoons lime juice, doubled the cumin, doubled the garlic and jalapeno pepper. Added a diced onion. Thanks very much for this recipe.

Grilled Potatoes and Onion

Yummy as can be. We all loved it. I found my potatoes stuck to the foil. After reading other suggestions I will rub the foil with olive oil. Because of personal preference, I used a large sweet onion in place of the red. Otherwise I followed the recipe to the letter. Thanks for sharing Bob!

Slow Cooker Pot Roast

I didn't have time to prepare the roast with the flour steps, but threw all into the pot, added a few potatoes and dashed off to work. It smelled wonderful when I got home. I thickened the gravy with the flour at this point. What incredible flavour. I was very happy and will definitely make again. The potatoes were an odd brown colour after soaking in the sauce all day. My kids thought I was sneaking in a new vegetable :-) But they devoured the meal. Thanks keylimeone

Spiced Butternut Squash Soup

This was absolutely wonderful. I thought it would be good after reading the reviews, but it was even better. I did not have any sherry, so substituted in some red wine. I did not add the allspice or nutmeg as I did not have any. I did double up on the cayenne, as we like a bit more bite. I also added some shredded carrots along with the squash. I didn't add the optional sour cream, as it just did not need it. Thank you for submitting this recipe. It is my new favourite soup.

Rempel Family Meatloaf

My family thoroughly enjoyed this meatloaf so it's the one I'll use going forward. Tonight I am going to try this as the filling for "Stuffed Jack-O-Lantern Bell Peppers", on this site. I think it will great!
