Caramelized Brussels Sprouts with Pistachios

I did like recipe and there were 2 thumbs up all around the table. Not the usual reaction to brussel sprouts in my home. Next time I make this I will use a yellow, not a red onion. I will also try using balsamic, not red wine vinegar. Like other reviewers, after steaming I cut the sprouts in half.

Authentic Saag Paneer

We all thoroughly enjoyed this recipe. It was very comparable to what I have eaten in Indian restaurants. Other than the fenugreek, I followed the directions as written. It is not a spicy dish, but it accompanies other spicy dishes beautifully. Thanks for sharing.

Grilled Asian Ginger Pork Chops

Being vegan, it's difficult for me to personally rate meat recipes, I rely totally on my family. They enjoyed it. I think next time I would marinade overnight, not the 2 hrs I had time for this on this occasion. The marinade was great for my tofu!

Grilled Potatoes and Onion

Yummy as can be. We all loved it. I found my potatoes stuck to the foil. After reading other suggestions I will rub the foil with olive oil. Because of personal preference, I used a large sweet onion in place of the red. Otherwise I followed the recipe to the letter. Thanks for sharing Bob!

Spicy Chicken Thai Soup

I made this tonight. It is as easy as it is tasty. I am vegetarian so I made the usual swaps. Like others I added more curry paste (double). But other than that, I followed it to the letter. Fab!!! I highly recommend watching Chef Johns video as it makes it even easier. Will definitely make again.

Creamy Salmon and Leek Pasta

Thank you Chef John!!!! Absolutely scrumptious. I will cut back on the lemon next time, I found it just a touch too sour. So easy but very decadent. I watched the video just before making, it gave me great confidence. (I even donned an apron and sipped on wine whilst making). Addendum: I made this again tonight. Fabulous, other than I forgot my own advice to cut back on the lemon. Halve the amount folks. Yummy and easy recipe. Again, thanks Chef John!!!

Cajun Seafood Pasta

I held back on the pepper flakes a little and it was still quite spicy. I'd add them at the end and check for your own tastes. Otherwise, it was decadent and yummy. I will make again with the following changes : I will saute the white part of a sliced leek and a cup of sliced mushrooms. Then follow as directed.

Creamy Mushroom Spaghetti Squash

I think like another reviewer my squash may have been too small. There was too much sauce for the amount of spaghetti. As it was so runny, I needed to add more vegetables. I used what I had on hand with mushrooms and broccoli. I was tasty but I thought that the sour cream was overwhelming. Next time, if my squash is the same size, I will use half a can of soup and 1/4 cup of sour cream. I will try this again because the potential is definitely there.

Red Lentil Curry

This will be much better the next time I make it. I over cooked the lentils. They were very mushy. Next time I will check them after 10 minutes. Our family is new to vegan life style, so it's trial and error going forth. This is a great start.
