Pumpkin Bread IV

The Pumpkin bread came out perfect. Very moist and full of flavor. I roasted a pumpkin for this and added walnuts and lots of raisins. Very good bread. Will use as my standard for pumpkin bread every year.

Chocolate Butter-Creme Frosting

Very nice , creamy . Can add more chocolate for a more intense flavor. Used it on a Black Forest cake. Delicious!

Pumpkin Pie I

This pumpkin pie recipe came out fantastic! Doubled the recipe to make 2 pies and everyone said it was the best pumpkin pie ever! Will save this one! Really creamy!

Jenny's Black Forest Cake

Everyone loved this cake ! Very good recipe but I did make some changes. Used Buttermilk instead of the sour milk. Used 1 cup plus 1 tablespoon. Also used Cherry pie filling mixed with 1/4 cup Ki. For filling . I used Chocolate Butter-Creme Frosting recipe for frosting the sides of the cake. I filled the cake with the whipped cream but also put a little Kir. And some Almond extract for a light cherry flavor. Loaded up the remaining cream and cherry filling on top and piped some cream around edges and tossed a little shaved chocolate on it. Beautiful and delicious!! From start to finish it took me about 3 hrs and 15 mins but worth it!!

Have made several batches and it comes out great!! I chop dates , add raisins, walnuts, pecans, almonds and coconut.. Really delicious!!

Carrot Cake III

This is a great Carrot cake! Only thing I did different was I made more (1 1/2 times everything) so I could make 3 layers. I used 1/2white sugar 1/2 brown sugar, golden raisins and walnuts. It came out great! I also made this yummy frosting. Not too sweet. I also crush the walnuts for the outside of the cake. It looked very pretty and was very moist. I have made this recipe3 or 4 times now and have't changed much besides the sugar. . Everyone tells me it's the best Carrot cake ever. Keeper recipe.
