Sausage Stroganoff

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2012
This was great! I skipped the canned soup and made my own roux with beef broth. I omitted the mushrooms entirely (though I would have liked them, I'm out numbered) - it is a wonderful recipe and all 4 picky kids plus hubby loved it. Next time, Ima double this bad boy! Thanks so much for submitting :)

Easy and Elegant Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Jun. 7, 2007
Like some others, I seasoned mine before breading. I used Herbes de Provence by Penzeys Spices. Any spice you prefer with pork would work well with this recipe. I tenteed mine halfway through to avoid over browning. It came out tender, delicious and temporary! The family ate it up and there are no leftovers. Thanks so much for the recipe!

Key West Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2007
This marinade is a standard in our house. It's easy enough for a week night, yet tasty enough for company. I always double it and use the leftover chicken in a salad the next day.

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2007
I make this a lot, and the brown suger/ketchup mix is the key. I sometimes use oatmeal as filler instead of crackers and I always add a few dashes of worstechire (sp) sauce.

Scalloped Tomatoes

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2007
I honestly had some doubts about this recipe, but it is definetly a keeper! I used olive oil instead of butter, and sprinkled parmesean cheese over the top for the last 10 mintues and the dish got rave reviews. I baked it in a 9 X 9 pan instead of 9 X 13

Easy and delcious, this is a holiday keeper. I'd recommend using dark brown sugar and adding peanuts. So good.

Millie Pasquinelli's Fried Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2005
Oh baby this was good!! I've been looking for just this recipe - who knew? I used boneless breast cut into tenders and cut the recipe in half. I fried it in my cast iron skillet and it was the bomb! Thanks Sue!

Fried Onion Rings

Reviewed: Aug. 18, 2005
This was so easy! Although a little bland, with more pepper and other spices this could easily become a standard. The best thing is if you run low on batter, there are only a few ingredient so making more on the spot is a breeze - unlike more complicated (and not as tasty) recipes. Coating the onion slices in flour before battering helps the batter adhere. All in all, this is a great recipe, thanks!!

Sunshine Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 18, 2005
We liked this ok, but the sauce won't replace our favorite bottled bbq. Chicken was tender - I used boneless thighs and cooked them for 40 min. Good quick meal and kid friendly.
