Angel Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2005
This is such an amazing recipe! I wonder how Marian came up with it, I would never think of adding these ingredients together. This is also great on fettuccini, and just as good with regular cream cheese and less butter if you are trying to be healthy. I have made this at least ten times. It's perfect with some nice asparagus or broccoli on the side, perfection! Thanks for such a great recipe!

This is a recipe I will use for life! So easy and the possibilities are endless. I made bacon and cheddar muffins with these, just cut down on the sugar, and they were perfect. Great with some scrambled eggs and oj for breakfast!

Cheese Blintzes

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2005
I have always been a bit skeptical of dessert recipes that call for white bread, but this recipe changed that! These were so cheap and easy to make. So delicious and sweet. I ended up using three times the sugar and cinnamon just as another reviewer did. I baked them a little longer too, the ends get a little crispy that way, mmmm. Perfect recipe, thanks!

Best Chicken Ever

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2005
So simple and cheap, with such great results. I would have never thought to use corn flakes to coat chicken, it was so crunchy and flavorful. It's great to add your own spices of choice to the coating, I used finley grated parmesan cheese and minced garlic, came out sooo flavorful. Thank you!

Amy's Garlic Egg Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2005
Perfect recipe! I let the chicken sit overnight, which I highly recommend. I used only 3/4 cup of bread crumbs and still had some over. Tastes delicious also with romano cheese. To cut back on fat I only used enough butter to grease the bottom of the dish, then drizzled a small amount of olive oil over the breaded chicken right before baking. That definitely added some great flavor and made it extra juicy. Cheap, easy, and delicious. Thanks!

Mexican Rice II

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2005
This is without a doubt the BEST Mexican rice recipe ever. I made it as a side for fajitas and I just wanted to the eat the rice instead! I used a half of a cup salsa instead of tomato sauce for added flavor. After reading the reviews of people who said it was dry, undercooked, etc., maybe that has something to do with their cooking and not the recipe. It's pretty hard to mess this recipe up. Even better than restaurants. Thanks!

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2005
So easy and so delicious! #1 thing to do is line your baking dish with foil! This is very necessary otherwise you will be scraping away at sugar that has been burnt onto the glass. I made a revision that changed the taste and made it sooo much better than it already is. I toasted three tablespoons of sesame seeds (easy to do, heat pan on high toast seeds for two minutes each side) and mixed it in when the sauce was done cooking. Delicious! Thank you.

Greek Penne and Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2005
FIrst time I made this it was very bland and didn't have too much sauce to cover the pasta. Second time it was amazing, I made a few revisions. I used marinated artichoke hearts (this is VERY important if you want good flavor) and cooked the garlic and onion in a mix of olive oil and some of the marinade from the artichokes. No butter, didn't need it. I added a six ounce can of tomato paste so there was a good amount of sauce and I used a full cup of feta. I added half the feta when the recipe calls for it, then right before serving I sprinkled the other half on top, covered the pan and let the cheese melt a bit. Second time around the recipe was delicious!

Bella's Rosemary Red Potatoes

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2005
This is obviously a very simple and elegant recipe. I gave it three out of five stars because the butter is very unnecessary and three TBS is a lot of oil. For people who don't want the added fat, just using olive oil still gives the potatoes so much flavor. Also, I only used two tablespoons of olive oil and that was more than enough. Still healthy and a perfect side to any gourmet meal.
