Mouse's Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2013
I made this recipe with the exact ingredients except I cut the pepper down to 1/4 teaspoon, which was still to much. Just didn't like the taste of this dish at all. Won't make it again.

American Lasagna

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2013
I've tried several recipes, this one is the best. My only suggestion is to double the sauce. I've done that every time since the first time I have made it. And get one of those deep foil lasagna pans that you can throw away. You'll need the space.

Original Homemade Italian Beef

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2011
My boyfriend and I loved this when I made it the first time. The only thing I did was use 2 packets of Italian dressing and I added only about 5 or 6 peppers and a little juice and it was perfect. The only thing that wasn't, was there wasn't enough left over! I got it cooking now, with 2 roasts this time. :-)

Baked Penne and Smoked Sausage

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2010
I like it, my boyfriend loves it. The only things I did different was that I added a can of mushrooms and used the lil' smokies, but I didn't brown them. Next time I won't mix any cheese and onion in it, I'll just sprinkle it on top towards the end. I really don't see the point of mixing just a little bit into the mixture before baking. Might try a spice next time for a little kick.

Mixture for Meatballs, Meatloaf or Burgers

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2008
I made this and wound up with about 40 to 50 meatballs. I used Italian bread crumbs instead of the soaked bread, parmesan cheese instead of Romano, fresh diced onion and a few cloves of crushed garlic. The breadcumbs were just a little overpowering. I browned the meatballs in a skillet, then baked them at 400 degrees for about 15 to 20 minutes.

Beef Stroganoff III

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2008
I followed this exact. I didn't have any juice left from when I cooked the beef. I used a little extra beef broth, but after cooking, there was hardly any juices left, so I added a packet of beef gravy and a cup of water, let it thicken, then added the sour cream.

Pineapple Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2008
The onion soup was really overpowering. I will try this again, but I will use half a packet of onion soup, plus mix in some of the juice from the canned pineapple. I also used mandarin oranges instead of a fresh orange. Update- I used half a pack of onion soup and the juice from the pineapple. It turned out much better!

Garlic Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2008
I made this exactly like the recipe is, and I used fresh grated parmesan. I had to bake the chicken about 10 minutes longer, but this was a hit. I will be making it again.

Italian Style Pork Chops

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2008
The only thing I changed was I used italian breadcrumbs instead of crackers. Really wasn't impressed with this at all.

The Best Meatloaf

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2008
It was ok. Nothing special. The A1 wasn't overpowering like I saw in some reviews. Took forever to cook and fell apart very easy.

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2007
I'm not even done baking this batch of cookies, and I can already tell that I don't like this recipe. I'm away from home and my inlaws asked for cookies, so since I don't have my regular recipe, I decided to try these. I'm not trying to toot my own horn, but I am one of the best bakers in the family, and these cookies are lousy. First, I couldn't get half of them off the pan, and what ones I did they either broke or the chips came out of the bottom of the cookie. I baked the first pan as directed, the bottoms started to burn. I adjusted the bake time, rack position and temp, but none of it was right for these cookies. I will not use this recipe again.

Easy Salmon Cakes

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2007
Not the greatest, but they were good. I didn't have any lemon juice so I used milk, and after reading some feedback I leftout some breadcrumbs, but it was still a little dry. Cooked in oil instead of butter, and they browned alot better then the first two I cooked in butter.

Dill Dip III

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2005
This dip was ok, but next time I would add just a hair bit more dill and sour cream. Had to much of a mayo taste. Plus, I would scale it down. I made the original recipe for about 15 people, and I still have a ton left over.

My first macaroni salad. It looked good and I made it according to the recipe, except I added a little more mayo, but it just didn't taste right to me.

Deviled Eggs

Reviewed: Jul. 2, 2005
It tastes like your average deviled eggs, but it was very dry and I had to keep adding mayo until it was the normal consistancy.
